I can’t recommend Spencer Darrington highly enough. From start to finish, he was absolutely fantastic and a real asset to Curchods. Selling my flat turned out to be far from straightforward, with ongoing back-and-forth between solicitors and building management over a roofing issue. It could easily have become a very stressful and difficult situation, but Spencer handled everything with calmness, patience, and total professionalism throughout. He kept things moving, communicated clearly at every stage, and was always reassuring when challenges arose. I genuinely believe that without Spencer as the sale negotiator, the process would have been significantly more complicated and stressful. Curchods are very fortunate to have someone like Spencer on their team. Really pleased with the service from Spencer & the team from the Ottershaw branch. From looking round the property through to completion Spencer kept constant communication and updates throughout. Curchods did a great job in selling our late parents’ home at a sad and stressful time for the family. Phill was sympathetic in valuing and advising how best to prepare and market the property, and then waited for us to contact him when we were ready to start the process. I Chose Curchods Estate Agents in Ottershaw to market and sell my late parents property because they demonstrated a friendly and sympathetic approach because I was going through a very emotional time with the recent loss of my Mother. From the get go Spencer Darrington at Curchods was fantastic! not pushy at all, he was true to his word and did not keep calling me, he waited for me to be ready to contact him prior to putting the property on the market. Spencer and the whole team at Curchods Ottershaw have been nothing but fantastic! Having now gone under offer after several viewings and offers on the house, I was impressed with the level of viewings that I had in the first few days of the house being on the market. I am very satisfied with Curchods and would highly recommend them to others who have properties to sell, It is good to know that I will only be dealing with Spencer throughout the whole sale progression process instead of having to deal with lot's of people. There are Estate Agents and then there is Spencer Darrington. He really is a league above every other Estate Agent I have come across. Personal but professional. Sold our house within a week which has been on the market for over a year. We moved on to exchange and completion which was done in 16 weeks with Spencer checking in everyday with the whole chain working tirelessly to get it finalised as I had a deadline. So if you want your house sold efficiency and effectively I would use Spencer at Curcholds every time.

I cannot recommend Curchods highly enough. From start to finish, the process was seamless and handled with the utmost professionalism. A huge thank you to Spencer, Phill, and Alex, who conducted all the viewings. They worked incredibly hard to find the right buyer and managed to complete the entire sale within just a month. Their communication throughout was excellent, whenever we called the office, the phone was picked up almost instantly, usually within the first ring, which was really reassuring. Great service from Phill, Spencer and Alex in selling our house. Always available on the phone to talk through things. They kept on top of the sale with weekly updates all the way through. We used their recommend solicitors Clifton Ingram who's price was competitive but found difficult to contact by phone, no problem with emails. We also used their in-house mortgage broker, Tony who charged £500 to set up a mortgage, he was great for general advice although in the end we didn't end up with the best deal available and he was really pushing expensive life insurance with high commission, but it could be all brokers all do that now.

Having dealt with a different branch of Curchods for my own house sale several years ago I can say that Curchods Ottershaw have been equally efficient and professional in dealing with the purchase of a flat by my son. Esme was able to smooth the process and ensure the flow of information between my son's and the vendors' solicitors as well as the vendors themselves. It did get a bit stressful towards the end with the time limited mortgage offer about to expire (no reflection on Curchods) but we managed to complete at the last minute.
