The whole procedure of renting this house is pleasant, from arranging a view to get the key. Our reference procedure occurred a little complicated situation but the letting manager always reply quickly and gave many support, help us to solve the problem. Our experience of most other estate agents in the local area could be described as painful, at best. James and the team at Curchods are a breath of fresh air. Clear and friendly communication with honest advice when needed was hugely appreciated and they made moving a delight. Feeling treated like a real person and not just a walking £ sign made such a difference. James even took the time to see how our move went, which may seem like a small thing, but demonstrated to us that he was also looking after our interests. I am certain we will turn to Curchods again for our next move and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy and decent letting agent in the area.

From the initial viewing to the follow up after moving in, I found B&W (and Daniel in particular) to be professional, courteous and above all exceptionally helpful in gaining my tenancy. Their fees were clear and had no hidden extras and (while not the absolute cheapest) were much lower than many of the other letting agents. They also understood that the best tenant wasn't necessary the one willing to pay most and actually resisted a 'bidding war' between applicants - making a clear recommendation to the landlord based on all the evidence (availability, income & employment, previous references etc). They kept me updated throughout the process and ensured I was happy and informed. The check in was slightly later in the day than I would have liked but this was due to availability of the external inventory clerk. Overall I was very happy with their approach and execution which felt to be a lot more professional and reasonable than the usual conveyor belt of the letting process.

I was in a hurry to find an apartment to rent as I just came from Italy. After a short chat, the staff proposed an apartment right away, the perfect one for me. They made sure the process would be completed in the most expedite way. They also helped me understanding the terms of renting in the UK, and helped me out much beyond that. A very good experience, and I am very happy with the apartment.

The total service from checking in to on going is so poor it is unbelievable! I have no idea how they call themselves Surrey's best! Far from it! My advice is any pre-conditions you have - make sure its been completed before signing anything or moving in! Do not assume it will be done and do not be naïve to think they will take responsibility for it! Furthermore be prepared to keep chasing! As A landlord I would be weary of them as a simple inventory check can get lost and they have to come back a month later to re do it - This they find acceptable! The whole system is Flawed!
