House hunting is never easy but during the summer last year it became an absolute nightmare, with everything being full booked the moment it comes onto the market, and the stupid bidding wars estate agents were doing. After viewing a house with another estate agent which were next to useless, I phoned up CJ hole about a house I had seen online and spoke to Vicky, who told me that unfortunately the house was fully booked, however they would call me in the morning if things changed, and to all my surprise she called me, saying how we are welcomed to view in the afternoon so we headed down to view the house later that day. Loved the house and appreciated Vicky's time. Our offer was accepted with no bidding wars as they did best and final offers from the start, and now was a waiting game completing the chain above us in our time frame. Months went by and nothing had happened, feeling frustrated and saddened that we may lose the house due to rapidly rising interest rates. a few phone calls and spoke to a lady called Kerry, who was absolutely fantastic. October came by and our sellers found a house, which turned out to be chain free so everything started rolling. It came to December and still we were no further, knowing that our mortgage offer was going to run out in a few weeks made a few phone calls to Kerry, who was phoning around all the time keeping everyone updated and letting us know what was happening and knowing that if the sale did not get completed in the next 2.5 weeks we would have no choice but to pull out, we completed on the 20th Dec. A very stressful and tense few weeks for us, but in for Christmas. Thank you CJ Hole, but more importantly thank you to Kerry and Vicky who in our case were extremely helpful. Much appreciated!

We completed on our first home together as a couple with through CJ Hole Westbury. They could not have done anything better, viewing was great and from offer to completion was about 3 months in a very tricky market and they were brilliant, super efficient and kept us informed with great recommendations for surveyors and great with communication with our solicitors who needed a fair amount of chasing! Our home is everything we were looking for and more - special thanks to Lorraine and Sam who were just amazing throughout the whole process. The viewings went very smoothly. The app is great as it allowed us to see the comments the viewers made. The sakes progression was not a good exoerience, we were told that CJ Hole will do the chasing with solicitors on our behalf. I did not feel that was the case. Some emails were not even replied to. On completion date , we had the phone call at 10.30 am from our solicitor to inform us about the completion. Chloe from CJ Hole called us at 11am , asking us when we will be leaving. We informed her that we had the call from the solicitor only 30mns before and we should be out by 4.30. She answered that it was too long as the buyers wanted to access the property . There was nothing we could do quicker. We found this a bit abrupt and pushy.

It's so upsetting and anxiety provoking when I fulfil everything I have to, keeping my flat in an immaculate condition, furnish it like it's your own, always pay rent, make improvements at my own cost, to be treated so terribly unfairly. My beautiful 70s theme lounge has had mould, damp, water leakage since moving in. I've reported everything, as is my duty but repairs are left to get worse and I'm agued with and sometimes even blamed!! My beautiful furniture / items are now damaged and have not been restored /replaced. I've just had to replace the washing machine that's never worked, too. It's hard to feel safe when immediate neighbours are inappropriate and involved with disability hate, ASB and again nothing's done. It's really difficult and depressing. Private renting in this town is hellish. There should be more help and regulation to protect fabulous tenants like me. I more than fulfil my obligations. I'm afraid letting agents and landlords repeatedly do not.
