GoogleWe initially had Nigel Poole come to our property and make a valuation. They had one of our neighbours, with the exact same house on the market. We felt like we were easy commission, not much positive action or drive and we then had a visit from Andrew Grant. The young gentleman, Aaran Addis, was so much more upbeat and positive, so we decided to go with Andrew Grant and informed Nigel Poole of our decision out of professional courtesy. We then had a phone call, from one of the Partners at Nigel Poole (female) on the same day at 8pm asking why we chose Andrew Grant. After explaining to them our reasoning (which we didn't have to), I was told 'you've made a terrible decision', and 'you have instructed a company that does nothing for the same commission percentage'. In the end, we sold within 5 weeks, and our neighbours are still waiting to sell theirs. I think proof is in the pudding. In terms of the estate agent himself, Aaran Addis was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always accessible by phone or email; quick and responsive to our needs or questions; friendly and approachable; knowledgeable and just really genuine. What I really liked about Aaran was his straight talking, which really assured my wife and I in that we made the right decision to instruct Aaran as a Estate Agent. GoogleVicky and the team were absolutely wonderful during a long and complicated sale mid pandemic! Vicky was clear and pragmatic throughout, as well as being very responsive whenever needed. Her huge amount of local knowledge was reflected in the advice she gave us, and kindly accommodated multiple photo visits to get the best possible images for marketing purposes. Though her organisation went through it’s own internal changes this did not impact the service we received and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vicky and Andrew Grant. GoogleWill recently helped me with a letting. Honestly it was a piece of cake beginning to end. Very speedy with email replies and our turnaround between tenants was only a few days in the end which was phenomenal meaning next to no lost rent. I know the market is quite buoyant but nonetheless we had plenty of viewings, all efficiently and quickly carried out and the winning tenants so far are great. GoogleWe had previously been let down with other Estate agents, with one having our property on the market for 5 months with a single viewing and zero communication, and another telling us we'd have to take up to a £20k value loss on our property in order to get it to sell. Well, Charlotte, Nancy and Julie at Andrew Grant not only listened and supported us with our various needs, but they kept in regular contact with us and updated us throughout the whole process. 1 week into having our property go live with them, they had 2 viewings for us, and an accepted offer on the table that was exactly what we were hoping for (value and position-wise). Nothing was ever too much or trivial for them, and they eased our concerns greatly. If we ever had a problem they were always easy to contact and responded very quickly. They always work in a professional manner and have excellent staff including Chloe Darcy, Rebecca Sutherland and every other person who we spoke too. They are worth every single penny of the Management Fee that we paid and even through the pandemic they were easy to contact.
