CAUTION! I suspect there a number of fake/biased positive reviews due to unprofessional behaviour. Based on our experience with Anthony, I would advise prospective buyers to approach this estate agent with caution. The process lacked transparency, and the explanations provided throughout left us with little confidence that matters were being handled in a fair and professional manner. We recently made an initial offer on a property, which the estate agent described as “up there”. We understood this to mean it was among the highest offers at that stage. Although we subsequently increased our offer, ultimately making it the highest, the seller later indicated that we were not “committed” enough to the sale, citing our initial lower offer as the reason. We had provided all requested information promptly, were in a very strong position (chain-free with a substantial deposit ready), and believed we had demonstrated clear commitment by increasing our offer. This experience left us feeling both puzzled and unfairly treated. It is disappointing when a higher offer is ultimately rejected based on subjective interpretations of an earlier bid, particularly when there is limited transparency regarding how decisions are being made. The language used by the estate agents throughout the process often felt vague and slippery, leaving significant room for interpretation. Terms such as “up there” created expectations that later appeared inconsistent with the outcome, contributing to a sense that clear and straightforward communication was lacking. When I later questioned how another offer had been accepted so quickly and how the process had moved forward without our knowledge, I raised concerns that there may have been preferential treatment towards another party. This was met with an extremely aggressive response. Anthony repeatedly jabbed and banged his finger on the table while raising his voice in what felt like an embarrassing attempt to intimidate me. Equally concerning was the fact that the other agents present simply sat back and watched without intervening or attempting to de-escalate the situation. Their lack of action suggested that such behaviour was either tolerated or considered acceptable within the office, which raises serious concerns about the standards of professionalism maintained by this agency. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience and has left us with significant concerns regarding the fairness, transparency, and professionalism of the process. The combination of unclear communication, questionable decision-making, and the embarrasing attempt to intimidate by Anthony has severely undermined our trust in this estate agent and their handling of the sale.

After seeing several Chesham agents I chose Louis to sell my mum's house for us mainly due to his straight-forward and honest approach. Others seemed to be making unnecessarily fancy pitches and even pushing services that were clearly more in their interest than ours. I'm very pleased with my choice. Louis has been excellent throughout the process - efficient and professional while approachable, easy and pleasant to deal with and his diligent progress chasing has been key to our getting a good outcome. We rented a 2 bedroom flat. And every other month would carry out an inventory inspection to see if the property is kept clean and tidy. Each time our reports would come out relatively “good” and we have been called the “perfect tenants” by Nawal who was bringing potential new tenants to the property. Our landlord had stopped by a few times and we grew a very positive rapport and compliment us as tenants. We are neat and tidy individuals. The “wear and tear” clause in every tenancy contracts involves chippings or occasional wall marks etc. But our deposit of nearly £2 grand, Frost plan to deduct around 60% of the property! They took their magnifying glasses to find anything… anything at all to fault us. There were some damages such as an iron burn mark in one of the rooms that we took accountability for. But if it wasn’t for the fact that I took pictures before moving, to show that a lot of their concerns surrounding “wall marks” and so forth to say a lot of their complaints were already met there before we got the keys. A “dirty sink” with a picture of a very clean sink. “Dusty carpets”…. Requiring shampoo that even with a receipt to show it’s been done during the summer (when it should ideally be done due to the heat helping to dry it), they still weren’t satisfied. They want a professional clean and if there’s marks on the wall and you paint over it they’re complain “the paint doesn’t match” and if what’s underneath is exposed they complain “scuff marks” To deduct. All in all the summary is, our responsibility as tenant was the leave the flat how we found it with reasonable wear and tear, but this is a lie. There are some questionable ethics renting with Frost. Honestly I’ve had such a horrible checking out. I am under the impression that Frost expected us to redecorate entirely for them. To charge 60% of someone’s deposit you must question if trash, rubbish, soiled carpets, shabby place, dirty kitchen or a brown bathtub or toilet left unflushed. The charge is unjustified and having rent many times in the UK this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I encourage everyone to always take photos of their property before key collection. Otherwise you will undergo string accusations of markings and chippings classes as damages. And Pooja... There was a leak from the ceilings that we had to contact our landlord because she was unresponsive. She responded immediately when our landlord got involved. She can’t even do her job and has such high expectations for tenants. This has happened more than once.

There should be an option of Zero Star rating. Extremely disappointed with the end-of-tenancy process. As many others have experienced, it felt like every effort was made to hold onto the full deposit rather than treating tenants fairly. Communication became difficult when asking for a transparent breakdown of charges. Future tenants, make sure you choose the right lettings team.
