After seeing several Chesham agents I chose Louis to sell my mum's house for us mainly due to his straight-forward and honest approach. Others seemed to be making unnecessarily fancy pitches and even pushing services that were clearly more in their interest than ours. I'm very pleased with my choice. Louis has been excellent throughout the process - efficient and professional while approachable, easy and pleasant to deal with and his diligent progress chasing has been key to our getting a good outcome. We first met Jacqui, the branch manager of Frosts in February to value my late mothers property for probate. Out of the three separate agents who attended , she was by far the most friendly and professional with an eye for detail. Based on this, we chose Frosts to handle the sale. What should have been a straight forward chain free transaction turned out to be time consuming and difficult not to mention stressful! Jacqui however was always supportive and "on the case". Be very careful. You are dealing with a company that is selling an OPTION to buy. The terms of the contract are almost illegal and massively one-sided (read them and get advice). So many people are saying they lost money. Medway Law, which they use, is owned by IamSold. Also, I am sold on recording their calls but won't give any recordings to anyone, saying they are private due to GDPR... Their staff are very, very nice on the phone when you are talking about buying but change their behaviour once you try to negotiate and once you sign the reservation form. Rebecca A. will hound you so long as she thinks you are in her pocket. The actual agent who showed us the property confirmed he'd not actually read IamSold's terms properly. I asked him outright. IAS has very clever sales tactics, because once you pay the reservation fee, that's it, they have YOUR money. Be very careful; this is not a company I would recommend. I'd go as far as to say you could lose your money. The mortgage caveat is not worth the paper it's written on, and if you try to rely on it, they will say, "We need to send this to an internal panel for review," and guess what happens then. Follow your gut; if it doesn't feel right, you know it's not. Do yourself a favour: don't buy or sell via this company. So many have lost money
