GoogleProfessional, pro-active and lots of initiative. I booked in to view one property and based on this Kieran suggested another which was exactly what I was looking for and ended up buying. Dealing with the solicitors was tortuous and the sale would not have gone through but for Rob's exceptional pro-activity at stepping in and doing all the chasing the solicitors were so ineffective at doing. Couldn't recommend Taylors highly enough.

GoogleAfter a disappointing start with another estate agent Taylors came along and found me a seller within a few days. Although the sale fell through (no fault of Taylors) Taylors were professional at all times keeping me up to date with what was happening and didnt string me along when things started to go wrong. I cannot fault Taylors at all. Easiest 5 stars ever!!

GoogleI am in the middle of selling a property, I accepted a good offer last week when it had been on the market for almost a month which included Christmas. Throughout the process I have found the staff at Taylors to be friendly, efficient and courteous. They produced a very nice coloured and accurate brochure and showed 4 prospective buyers round. The most recent made a sensible offer within 24 hours. I am using solicitors associated to Taylors who are equally good. I recommend Taylors highly.

GoogleSo much to say about Taylors, firstly if youre working with Tyson he is a total gentleman and will work hard to get both the buyer and seller the best outcome. It took me two attempts to get an exchange on my first time purchase and if it wasn't for all the hard work in matching me to my ideal property for the second offer and getting the paperwork through I don't think I'd be half as happy as I am now. Would recommend and would definitely sell with in the future. All the staff are honest and hard working what more do you need!

GoogleI booked a viewing to rent a flat with Taylors, and no one showed up. I called them while waiting in the street and got through to the sales department, who couldn't think how to help me. "Put me through to lettings?" I suggested; "Good idea," they said. I was kept on hold for a while, then told I would be called back. They never turned up, never called back, never got in touch to apologise. I'd taken the afternoon off work to come to Oxford from London. Avoid.

GoogleI've given two stars as the experience when viewing, first letting and moving into the property I rented with Taylors was overall positive. Nothing special, but good. In general the Headington office itself has been fine. Their property management team however, has proven crap. We're on our second manager in six months as the landlord couldn't bear the slowness of the first one, which was insane. Despite this, we still find our emails ignored for weeks, phone calls never picked up and what correspondence there is is often in poor English. We've had to call the letting office in the past just to get through to someone, it's a classic case of 'once we've got your money, we'll treat you awfully'.

GoogleI have been searching for the right property for a while and was quite specific with what I was looking for. I was contacted regularly with updates and received texts of any new properties they thought I would be interested in. They managed to find me exactly what I was hoping for and the team were fantastic in negotiating terms with the Landlord so I could move in quickly...3 days later!! Smooth work guys! Thank you again.

GoogleThe staff at the St Clements office are nice enough but don't seem to be very knowledgeable about what the market's really doing and don't appear to possess the traits or wherewithal necessary to make a sale. The majority of potential buyers sent to view my property weren't particularly appropriate and so of course were not interested in the type of property I have to sell; they were either looking for something different, a different area or had a lower budget than required. Or, the weaker elements of my property (there aren't many) never seemed to be countered with the better elements or decent guidance given as to what could be done about them. I always found myself saying, 'Well, did you say ...' or 'Did you point out that ... '. Usually the answer was 'no', silence or fast typing heard on the line to take down notes! Worst of all, I was not advised that offers made within the first 4-6 wks of marketing are usually the highest. I suppose I should've known this but I was relying on the 'professional' to point out every salient point - lesson well learned. I missed out on the perfect buyer because I thought I could achieve more and I was not advised otherwise, just given repetitive mentions of the buyer's position and what % of the asking price was being offered. At this point I should have been told just how good that % was and what the comparisons were, and how it's more likely to be my best offer being fresh on the market. I wasn't. Not good enough to persuade me (or likely any vendor) receiving an offer in the first week a fair chunk below asking price. Going against my gut instincts, I eventually took their advice to drop the price - twice - which was their only suggestion for gaining more interest and as I thought, has made zero difference. Throughout my time with Taylors, I put forward a multitude of suggestions to enhance my property's online/advertising presence and ideas for viewings, which was met by a slow responding, 'Oh, we've never done that before' or long periods of silence where after my pushing them to research how to do things, finally tried them. In addition, their fee, whilst negotiated down to the lowest comparable I received, is only 'all inclusive' upon sale; you'll have to pay for your professional photos up front and they only explain this to you just as you're about to sign on the dotted line. As there's been no sale, I can say goodbye to £149; had they agreed to reimburse the monies paid after everything I've been through (I have had serious health concerns during the process, something they were made aware of and is the main reason I have to sell), they would certainly have redeemed themselves to some degree, not least just by showing some goodwill. But instead gave me some nonsense excuse that the photos have already been used in advertising but I'm welcome to keep them. I'm still waiting to receive these but what use are they anyway? A keepsake?! All estate agents want new photos taken and rightly so! I've lost essential time and money working with Taylors and don't feel at all confident selecting another agent after this experience. If you're looking for an estate agent who is knowledgeable, innovative, really knows the market (as well as the ins and outs of your home), will only send you suitable potential buyers - no time wasters - and give you the best advice they have based on their demonstrable success and experience, I wouldn't recommend Taylors. If you want the cheapest agent you can find who are nice people, relaxed and fairly good communicators (which is why they get 1 star), Taylors is your choice. p.s. It's interesting that the majority of the reviews here are about lettings... perhaps this element of the business is better than sales.
