Moved from Sheffield to Cardiff, because of the distance I trusted the photos of the property advertised rather than seeing in person. Never have I been so wrong in doing so. Photos were probably from when it was first done up years ago, and the current state was dusty, mouldy, hole in the ceiling, grim state of the floors and lino pulling up. How are you allowed to advertise with old photos? Maintenance takes forever to be done, and it took even longer for us to get our deposit back. They also beg for 5 star reviews when they help but alas they are only getting 2.

My experience with Taylor’s was extremely disappointing. I purchased an apartment marketed by them, and when I received the keys, the property was in a completely different condition from what I had viewed months earlier. It was dirty, damaged and left in an unacceptable state, and items mentioned on the list were missing. I contacted Taylor’s and even provided a video showing the condition of the property, but I felt that my concerns were treated with very little care or urgency. What disappointed me most was the apparent lack of responsibility and customer care. It felt like once the sale was completed, their job was done and the customer no longer mattered. Buying a property is a major financial commitment, and I expected a much higher level of professionalism and communication. I have kept the emails, photographs and video evidence documenting everything. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Taylor’s. Extremely poor customer service and a very disappointing experience.

I can highly recommend Hussain Miah as a mortgage adviser. He was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable about the market. He always replied to my messages or called me back practically immediately, which unfortunately I cannot say about some of the other parties involved in my purchase. His advice was always clear, accurate and genuinely helpful. In fact, I initially didn’t follow his advice, and this ended up delaying my house purchase by several weeks, so I can honestly say: listen to Hussain! A very professional mortgage adviser who clearly knows his market. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

This estate agent had viewings and I had to go to work on that day. I have an indoor cat and I have agreed to the viewings on the conditions that they would keep my flat door and the front door closed at all times not to let the cat out. I predicted they would fail to accommodate this simple request so I have asked my neighbours to keep an eye to make sure my door was closed. If wasn't for my neighbours informing me that the agent kept the front door wide open and my flat door ajar and me contacting their office immediately my cat would have gone out and potentially getting injured. I even have a sign on the door that says not to let the cat out, a sign that was clearly ignored, because what part of leaving the flat door adjar and the front door wide open is keeping someone's pet (or child) safe? Not sure if they just didn't care or lack common sense or comprehension skills. It can only be one of those three and neither is good. Then all I received was fake apologies, blaming my neighbours for being vigilant and defending the agent who failed a simple request. I wouldn't trust these people to be respectful of your properties

It was mine and my wife’s first time buying a house and we used IFZAL as our mortgage advisor and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else . He was so helpful , answered all our questions (even my wife’s silly questions ) . He helped us chase up our solicitors even after his job of issuing the mortgage was done . Really disappointed with Taylor’s after their initial ‘sell’ to me with a great agent I was passed around so many different people. I had to constantly chase for updates and was also asked to reach out to a buyer myself, which felt really inappropriate. They told me they were getting no response but I got a response in 10 minutes. They seem to be stuck in the old days of only being able to communicate via phone, reluctant to send emails or text messages. An incredibly frustrating experience and only 1 viewing in 6 months despite all their ‘marketing techniques’ which mostly consisted of asking me to drop the price.
