We had the unfortunate experience of selling our house with these clowns six months ago and it was beyond a joke. They lied to a perspective seller on our position, which caused no end of unpleasantness as the seller thought we had intentionally deceived them. They lied without our knowledge or agreement and then stated that’s the way it’s done. They didn’t vet the financials of prospective buyers for our property and we later learned a good portion of people who viewed our house did not have the financial backing to pay anywhere close to what it was worth. We would get unknown staff members turn up for viewings without any knowledge of the house. Felt so sorry for any people viewing as they wouldn’t of been able to ask a single question. When we finally received an offer and we’re in the process of completing our chain, the other solicitors and estate agents found them so utterly useless that the just stopped trying with them and we communicated amongst ourselves. They actively screened our calls on several occasions and when using an unknown number to them they’d miraculously answer, this happened on multiple occasions. In all honestly I wonder what we paid them for as the house description was pathetic at best and the original floor plan created could of been for someone else’s house it was that bad. Please please do not use this company to sell your house, you honestly can get far better service elsewhere!

If you want to lose time and hope, then this agency is for you. We had a viewing appointment at home, but no one arrived and no one picked up the phone. Having called the next day, they said that they didn’t have this in the records and could schedule a review after 5 days, since they don’t have a key. after 3 days, the house was removed from the list and of course no one informed us that our second viewing was canceled.

Drove 90 miles to view a property that was listed the previous day. Received a phone call en route to say property was "sold" I had been told there were no other viewings that day, and the property was only publicly listed on rightmove on Wednesday. When I asked why i would not get the opportunity to attend my scheduled viewing and place a higher offer i was told... They have accepted an offer from a cash buyer, I pointed out that I was also a cash buyer. Sales negotiator then told me he would speak to the vendor and call me back. He then called back and forgot what he previously said and went on to say they had advised vendor to go with previous offer because they were using Taylors in house mortgage broker and solicitor. I pointed out that this was not what he said before and that this meant they were not interested in getting the best price for the vendors property. I then asked to speak to the sales manager who told me he would call the vendor personally and call me back. He didn't. I called him back. And he eventually said viewing should not have been booked in. I pointed out that if the property sold for more money, Taylors would make better commission. Oliver told me.. "It wouldn't make any difference as they were on a fixed commission" a fixed commission? That's not the sales process listed on the website This was on a Thursday during half term and I had to bring my disabled 8yr old child on a 180mile 4hr round trip. Dont believe for a second he called a vendor of an empty property and told them he had a cash buyer willing to pay more than previous offer and that ..the vendor said "oh no I don't want anymore money for my property:" Bottom line. If you sell through them they won't get you the best price for your property. They will sell it to "mates" OR pocket investors. If you try and buy through them. They will waste your time and petrol and insult your intelligence. You have been warned. If you are the vendor of a property in wellingborough and you just sold through Taylors...they have not acted in your best interests, and you have missed out on £1000's... Not what I would want if I sold my own property Sales managers name is Oliver... so is the mortgage brokers. I look forward Taylors public response.

I had never sold a property before so was very nervous and probably the most annoying seller with all my questions and chasing however the guys are full of knowledge and kept me up to date with all feedback from viewings and also feedback with how the property was doing online. we are now SOLD subject to contract and just want to say a big thank you to everyone in the office!

Taylor's advertised a house for sale, I was looking for a buy to let property & this property fitted the bill perfectly. I contacted the agent keen to view the property asap but this never happened, after numerous phone calls I never did get to see the property. I found the staff to have every excuse under the sun & very rude.

Worst agency ever. I saw the advert and called the agency to discuss the price and booked for a view. few hours before the viewing, I noticed that they increased the price without informing me.
