GoogleReally impressed with the level of service from Taylor's. Our first sale fell through and Taylor's managed to get us three new viewings the next day leading to an offer of asking price. Service didn't end there as Ian acted brilliantly as the sales progressor and kept the chain on track throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend.

GoogleWe dealt with Luke Freestone who organised a house viewing for us. Upon arrival the agent had left the property due to the owner bolting the front door so no one could view the property. After calling the letting agency to complain I was advised that they hadn’t even booked us in even though Luke had confirmed our appointment via email. We were told our complaint would be escalated. The following week Luke send my partner an email with customer data in it. It was a mistake but we had the customers name and email address which is a breach of GDPR. We stressed the lack of professionalism and asked how our complaint was progressing. We heard nothing for weeks. I feel this lack of courtesy deserves a realistic review. You wasted our fuel and time and you don’t seem to care.

GoogleThe initial communication with Taylor’s was good. Since moving in to the flat, the communication has become less so. We also had a bit of a nightmare when the letting agent moved our energy company without any explicit communication. We were then informed by a rather unsympathic and defensive member of staff that it was in our t&c’s, but we had already set up all our amenities and hadn’t realised another company had taken over our energy. It had subsequent and quite long lasting impacts on our energy costs. Wasn’t impressed with how the agent dealt with us.

GoogleVery big thank you to Mohammed and Sanaz at the Oxford branch for selling our flat. On the commercial front, Mohammed is professional, knowledgeable and straight talking which I like. We had a few bumps along the way but we were confident that we were in safe hands. Sanaz kept us up to date as the sale progressed and was always available to help move things forward. GoogleI used Taylor's back in the 90's to both sell my home and purchase a new one. At the time, it was effortless and having had that experience, we decided to use them again to sell a house from a member of our family that had passed away. Initially, everything appeared to be going well and more so, due to the current covid pandemic, we were aware that processes may be delayed. As time passed, we did however become increasingly frustrated with the lack of communication from both Taylor's and Country wide solicitors who were in fact, acting for both seller (us) and the buyer. It was only after we pushed for a better service and did at one point suggest that unless we had some sort of completion date due to the length of time it was taking, then we would have been forced to put the house back on the market. This was due again to lack of communication, questions coming in that had already been answered (sometimes twice) and a dispute over a land registry document which had expired many years ago and was totally irrelevant to the process. As I have mentioned, we were fully aware that everyone was under pressure in the current climate, however we did feel there were some delay tactics during the process. It wasn't until a family member attended at Taylor's with what I can only describe as an ultimatum, was it then that we started to receive phone calls with updates and eventually the house was sold on the completion date after we basically demanded one. With regards to Taylor's, Karl Pendry did the best job he could in the circumstances and in fairness, delivered at the end. In relation to Countrywide Solicitors, Emma and Zoe were extremely helpful and did keep me informed also towards the end. Would we use Taylor's again? Probably but I think we would need better reassurances at the start of any transaction and more communication during the actual process even if it's a phone call to say, "Nothing new, just updating you". It's better to hear something than nothing at all.

GoogleI recently used Taylor’s Sales and Lettings to relocate to a rented property. I found Niall Reed who I liaised with, to be responsive to my emails and phone calls, which gave me a peace of mind that the job in hand was being dealt with. Overall the whole experience, from searching for a premises to signing a tenancy was dealt with professionally and quickly. I would happily recommend Taylor’s sales and letting to any tenant looking for a new abode
