Atrocious customer service throughout, cannot recommend to any buyers and would rate 0 if I could. Every person I spoke to over the phone was uninterested and sounded like they couldn’t be bothered to hold a conversation- chewing gum loudly, snorting/coughing into the phone, chatting with colleagues, etc. Every callback that was promised was ignored, every promised email with further details on properties wasn’t sent, and any follow-up had to be chased several times.
I was asked about my preferences and non-negotiables for a house to sign me up to email/phone alerts, but these were completely ignored and I had 100+ alerts over a few weeks about properties I had no interest in. I received several calls about properties I explicitly stated I wasn’t interested in, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. The same applied to mortgage/budgeting guidance, I had stated several times that I had this already arranged but they insisted on trying to arrange appointments with advisers.
On the rare occasion that I was interested in a property they’d advertised, they never got back to me and the property was sold well before they stopped saying they’d “get back to me” (which they didn’t), despite me calling back 3 times across a week and getting nowhere each time.
Ended up going with another estate agent to purchase a property, who actually wanted to work with their customers.

GoogleWhere do I start, apart from my opinion of estate agents has massively changed during our recent house sale/purchase. We've had bad experiences in the past, with agents seemingly content to lie, cheat and fluke their way through property sales.
Well, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, Taylors are not like this! Calls are answered, when messages are left, they return your calls. People are knowledgeable, thorough and seem to actually care about their jobs AND their customers. Special mention to Rob and Chris, who handled the majority of our case, although there are others who have assisted and have also been wonderful. An absolute credit to the industry and will 100% be our go to for future house moves, although we've said we aren't moving again now after Taylor's found us an absolute beauty of a property!
Do not hesitate to use Taylor's, they are fantastic!

GooglePlease do not go with this group of cowboys. We rented our property with them for one year and the experience was horrendous. Their electrician quoted £1500 for work, we then got the work completed be a different qualified electrician for £150. The staff were very rude and pushy towards using their own tradesmen, that’s if you could speak with a member of staff on the phone without them cutting you off. They have taken 2 months rent payments from our tenant who is a pensioner with limited funds, even though their contract has ended, we have been fighting to get this money returned for the past 3 weeks, with no joy as yet, even though they admit it is entirely their fault, they each blame different departments. Absolutely would never recommend this company.

Unfortunately the branch do not take the rent, the tenant pays this via a standing order and had failed to cancel it, so it was forwarded to you, the landlord, in good faith as the tenant was still in situ. The branch cannot be held responsible if the landlord did not inform the tenant of the change of payment details. As soon as the branch were notified they worked hard with both parties to resolve the issue and ensure the refund was authorised. After speaking with the branch they have confirmed to me that after a long phone call to yourself this was all explained and you both ended the phone call on good terms. In regards to the contactors pricing, I do not believe the branch can be held responsible for this as they do not have control over contractors pricing as this is not the branches area of expertise. After speaking with the branch, you were advised to either go with your own contractor or for us to obtain a second opinion. Ultimately the final decision was yours to make.
