As a landlord, my service experience has been at best variable with other London agents. However, JLL have really lived up to expectation by being realistic in their estimates, timescales and general 'reading' of the market. And although my experience with the Canary Wharf office has been limited only to a small number of the team, there is a prevailing sense of everyone serving their clients needs on all sides with a collective determination in delivering great customer service. I would like to commend in particular Sophie Webb for her outstanding support and great efficiency always. She is professional in her dealings but also extremely personable with a ready smile and terrific sense of humour. People like Sophie engender a sense of confidence and reassurance that my affairs are in good hands. Well done all !

Selling a challenging flat with a short lease and a complete absence of records seemed like a very difficult task. I can't imagine anyone going to more trouble than Tim des Forges to make it easy from day one. He used his expertise and kindly went far beyond what I could have expected - stepping in when there was a leak (twice), liaising with various removals men as I did not live near, phoning me when I was abroad, and, best of all, putting me in touch with a solicitor for whom the word problem did not exist.

Sometimes when you are looking to rent you browse through many properties available through different agencies. As I was looking, I came across W.A.Ellis many times and I realized that they have so many properties. Especially the properties that fit my exact criteria and also in my opinion they have good prices when comparing to other agencies. I am also from another country (Thailand) and I have never rented before.So I am not at all familiar with the process. W.A. Ellis made it very easy for me. They replied very quick, sometimes almost immediately after any of my inquiries and were very patient with my many questions. So, I had a very good experience.

It is hoped that jll will inctease the capacity to understand what matters most for an overseas buyer who has entrusted their whole property management to jll.. A WEAKNESS IN UK PROPERTY Industry is the TDS.. A SCHEME WHICH ONLY SERVES THE TENANT AND NOT THE PROPERTY OWNER. TDS MUST BE SERIOUSLY REVIEWED TO INCLUDE A FAIR AND BALANCED APPROACH TO PROTECT THE LANDLORDS INTERESTS AS WELL. OTHERWISE, I as an OVERSEAS Buyer WOULD like to LOOK TOWARDS A NEW SCHEME SET UP WHERE THE interests and SAFETY OF OUR PROPERTY IS ALSO GUARDED from careless tenants. Another area to review is your panel of contractors, in areas of pricing, responsibility, honesty and quality of work. Jll has to look harder into the above areas and to represent landlords interests more. Personally, apart from the 3 major points of weakness, JLL has a few key staff who are consistently focused, patient, responsible, professional and tries their best to provide the service due. They represent the jll image. Ask me who they are and I'm happy to divulge. Wish jll the best and hope to see some real improvements in the near future. All best.
