GoogleSuperb! We bought our home through Dacre, Son & Hartley in Morley. Emma and Sue constantly chased all parties within the chain, sought updates from solicitors on a regular basis and remained professional when I was frustrated by the top of the chain causing complications. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

GooglePut an offer in for a house but it was declined .Dacre Son and Hartley could not show me the property again until one week later by that time the property had been sold just hours before my 2nd viewing with family. Found some of the staff quite arrogant apart from Margaret who was very understandable as I am having to deal with probate at the same time.

Where do I begin with this sly estate agent? Buying a house is stressful, even more stressful during a time of inflated prices. Fortunately, we were willing to pay 65k over the asking price to secure a house in best and finals on Alwoodley Lane. The first issue was Dacres didn’t send staff around when we sent the first bank to value the property (like other agents do) which is incompetent from their side. HSBC said the property was overvalued and not worth more than £550k (we were trying to pay £615k) Virgin bank said the same. While in the process of trying the third bank, totalling to over £1000 in valuations, Dacres lied about supporting us with the sale, relisted the house and sold to another buyer today behind our back and against written agreement. We have a 7 month old baby, we’re over £1000 out of pocket and due to leave our place in less than 1 month time. What a disgusting way to handle a sale. *EDIT IN RESPONSE TO AGENT* The statement about my complaint being incorrect is untrue and they are still lying. If we were told viewings were happening and that the vendors were taking new offers we would not of paid for a third valuation. As stated in my original complaint - We have this in writing that the house was taken off the market. We also have in writing that the vendors from the vendors themselves that no further offers were to be considered until we had done the third valuation. Your secret agenda that was not communicated with us is disgusting. We have spoken to numerous agents who have said during this particular market they have been sending staff around as banks are resisting inflated prices. Perhaps you should think about this.
Danielle, we are very disappointed to read this negative review and that you feel we have acted anything other than professional and in our client’s best interests. The points which you raise are factually incorrect, and we would be more than happy to discuss these with you in more detail. In response to your concerns a) It is not common practice to accompany a valuer to a property. Surveyors are instructed to work on behalf of the bank’s interests, and any influence from an agent would be highly unprofessional. b) After two down valuations and waiting nearly three weeks for a third valuation still to be arranged, our clients took the decision to re market the property. It was neither our client’s, nor our intention, to see you in a difficult position. Our clients needed to do what was best for their own situation. You were kept fully informed of the remarketing and the reasons behind it.

GoogleTheres a crook of an agent. Won a bid for a property that was a real bargain but he fiddled with it and someone else won it for less. Corruption at its best, pity thugs get away with these things, just be careful.
I'm sorry but we are Dacres Morley, we have never had any dealings with you, please post this review with whichever agent you actually had dealings with. PLEASE REMOVE THIS REVIEW, YOU HAVE ADDED IT TO THE WRONG ESTATE AGENT.

GoogleFantastic experience with givin and his team.we lost the house of our dreams twice within a space of 6 months then it came bk on the market.the same morning we had the call of givin and we secured the sale finally 😀 Dacre also sold our property and everything was smooth sailing. Vicki was incredibly professional and responsive during the process, which took a little longer than we had expected due to the current market circumstances. We were regularly kept informed of milestones and issues were dealt with quickly and effectively. If we ever sell, it will be through Dacres - thank you Vicki!
