Would highly recommend

Would highly recommend. Staff in at the West Park office (thanks Jen and Amie) were very professional, helpful and did exactly what was promised. Throughout the viewing process they kept us up to date, always had a named contact who was prompt to respond to questions. When it came to completing the sale - we had many issues agents in the chain and solicitors, however Jen and Amie chased up, kept us informed and I felt were always working in our best interests.

Absolutely fantastic Estate Agents. We dealt with Izzy at Dacres, Guiseley for the purchase of our new home. We had a very difficult chain but Izzy and Louis were extremely proactive in moving the chain along at every point. The communication was outstanding and I felt informed throughout the whole process. A disappointing service

Such a disappointing service from Dacres. Getting to the point of having your home valued is a big thing, especially in the current climate. And having worked hard on making significant improvements to the house, the descriptions received by the valuer were unfair, mostly negative and insulting. There was a lot of talking and very little listening. Realistic and constructively critical comments are one thing, insults are another and there are ways in which you can support and guide a potential vendor without making them feel so uncomfortable and upset in the process. Sadly, this isn't an estate agent I would either recommend or use based on this.

This agency was marketing the property I decided to buy. My solicitors were dire - so slow, never once answered the phone. Fortunately Kelly Maw, Branch Manager, was on the case constantly, chasing both sets of solicitors and updating. Nothing was too much trouble even though business was manic at times! I can honestly say the service I received was faultless. I didn't receive this level of care when I sold my house! Terrible service, unethical and will screw you over as a buyer as soon as look at you. Had an issue with our sale, but they stated they'd keep the chain together. They didn't, they have said they were contacted by someone who found out, but there was no need to do this. We were back procedable by the Wednesday. On the Thursday EVENING they showed the property again, having never informed us this was happening.

We recently sold a property using Dacres in Guiseley. The valuation and marketing were all extremely professional: we chose Dacres as their valuation matched our expectations. They organised and carried out viewings and a sale was agreed quickly. Unfortunately the chain above us collapsed due to circumstances beyond Dacres' control, and we decided to put the house back on the market. Kelly and the team in Guiseley stepped up again another buyer was found. The process has been long-winded, but the team in Guiseley have kept us informed and been proactive with other agents and solicitors in the chain. There have been some kind personal touches on the way and we have no hesitiation in recommending Dacres in Guiseley after the excellent service we've received from Kelly, Martina and Hazel.

Firstly I would like to start off by saying the service I have received from Dacre, Son And Hartley has been excellent! I can not fault them! Im a professional landlord with over 25 years of buying and selling properties. However, I ventured on a journey to buy my own home in Guiseley. I have experienced working with another estate agent based in the Guiseley area. Unfortunately, my experience with them was a bad one. I now recognise why estate agents have such a bad reputation! However, working with DSH was a joy, especially with Izzy. She is a credit to DSH. My house purchase was 8 months. It was complicated with many houses/people/solicitors in the chain. But Izzy supported me with every step. Her communication, her knowledge, her unbiased opinion was amazing. She didn’t push me at all. It was a calm experience working with Izzy. She was almost like a friend. Whenever I needed anything, she would help. Whenever I contacted her, she would be there or return my call. A great service. I highly recommend DSH. If I were to sell my house, without any doubt, I would be selling it through Izzy at DSH

Sharp Practice

As per the 15+ negative reviews already written about this so called Agency NOTHING has changed. Thank God that due to their sharp practice I a cash buyer was not even disclosed to the seller nor afforded a viewing of the property I wished to purchase. I was told," Don't bother going to the house it's just been sold". I was 2miles from the house on the Date and Time agreed for my "Viewing" !!!! It transpired it was sold the day before and they didn't have the courtesy to tell me nor the owner who wanted a "Cash Buyer" NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!!!

Dacre, son and Hartley have recently sold my house. From the start they have been professional, friendly, approachable and highly competent. Jonathan came to value the house, he had a down to earth, pragmatic approach which I really liked and was very knowledgeable about the area and market. They got the house onto the market quickly and we had plenty of viewings. Both Louis and Izzy did an excellent job of keeping me updated of upcoming viewings and also providing me with feedback. Louis did an amazing job of negotiating the sale and Izzy giving me weekly updates with the sale progress to completion.
