Where do I even begin… We first saw the property on Facebook and got in touch straight away. By the very next day, we were already on the phone arranging a viewing. At that point, our own house wasn’t even on the market, and that’s when Gavin stepped in. Gavin went above and beyond, working tirelessly over the Easter weekend to get everything moving. From valuing our home, creating the brochure, to even arranging a photographer on Bank Holiday Monday, he somehow made it all happen. Our house was live on the market the very same day and sold within just 48 hours. We truly couldn’t be more grateful for all of his hard work, dedication, and the support from his team throughout the process. We would 100% recommend Gavin and his team to anyone. Dacre Son and Hartley Morley are simply brilliant. Their customer service is beyond excellent, nothing is too much trouble and they went above and beyond for me. Having dealt with other agents in the past who's customer service was dreadful , it brings home how brilliant they are. All messages and enquiries are answered promptly and advice and help above their remit was given, without question. A special shout out to Susan ( Sue ) and Gavin who couldn't have been any better. Gavin valued the property at a higher price than I expected and more than the agent who had been letting my property and he sold it for just above that price, he even cleaned up after a tradesman who didn't do his job properly. Sue was there for me every step of the way , not only doing her job at the highest level but also offering support and advice, which she didn't need to do , but did because she's so kind and friendly. Gavin, Sara and the team at Dacres were absolutely brilliant. Gavin’s local knowledge and vast experience really stood out from the start. I felt my property had been undervalued by another local estate agent, but Gavin immediately recognised that it was unique and gave a confident, well-reasoned valuation along with a clear sense of what to expect. It was clear that the team have an honest, no games approach to selling properties. Thanks to Dacres proactive approach - including a full weekend of viewings - I ended up selling for over the asking price that first weekend. To top it all off, in the middle of the viewings my cats decided to kill a pigeon… and Gavin calmly dealt with it without hesitation! If that doesn’t demonstrate going above and beyond, I don’t know what does. I would highly recommend Dacres and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Gavin Townsend at Dacres actually sold our house twice for us, as the first time went abortive through no fault of theirs. Gavin and the team were very personable and professional, and Gavin himself couldn't have done enough for us and was a great support throughout a stressful process. We looked at several other agents in the local area and Dacres were competitive on fees but what really swung it for us was their personable approach. Another point to add is that their professional photographer is excellent. It isn't just someone taking pictures on their phone - it's a proper set up and it really did our house justice. A disappointing service

Such a disappointing service from Dacres. Getting to the point of having your home valued is a big thing, especially in the current climate. And having worked hard on making significant improvements to the house, the descriptions received by the valuer were unfair, mostly negative and insulting. There was a lot of talking and very little listening. Realistic and constructively critical comments are one thing, insults are another and there are ways in which you can support and guide a potential vendor without making them feel so uncomfortable and upset in the process. Sadly, this isn't an estate agent I would either recommend or use based on this.

Sold house via Dacres, not a fast process from them, took ages to upload our home on different websites. Sara was the best, more helpful then anyone else there. We been advised the house will be available on different websites inc: Right move etc, on some websites the house not appeared. also been told we will get shoe cover (never got it). been told we potentially can get 200-215 for the house and once we received the first offer of 195 benn told to accept this as we won't get anything better. Not a great service. Not using Morley service again

Terrible service

Terrible service, unethical and will screw you over as a buyer as soon as look at you. Had an issue with our sale, but they stated they'd keep the chain together. They didn't, they have said they were contacted by someone who found out, but there was no need to do this. We were back procedable by the Wednesday. On the Thursday EVENING they showed the property again, having never informed us this was happening.

Sharp Practice

As per the 15+ negative reviews already written about this so called Agency NOTHING has changed. Thank God that due to their sharp practice I a cash buyer was not even disclosed to the seller nor afforded a viewing of the property I wished to purchase. I was told," Don't bother going to the house it's just been sold". I was 2miles from the house on the Date and Time agreed for my "Viewing" !!!! It transpired it was sold the day before and they didn't have the courtesy to tell me nor the owner who wanted a "Cash Buyer" NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!!!
