Would highly recommend. Staff in at the West Park office (thanks Jen and Amie) were very professional, helpful and did exactly what was promised. Throughout the viewing process they kept us up to date, always had a named contact who was prompt to respond to questions. When it came to completing the sale - we had many issues agents in the chain and solicitors, however Jen and Amie chased up, kept us informed and I felt were always working in our best interests.

Alison from Dacre at Pateley Bridge was fantastic with our move. She was proactive in finding us our home by reaching out to us whenever a new property that we could be interested in came on the market, she kept us updated throughout and was always on the ball to make sure the sale went through as quickly as possible always one step ahead with the solicitors and seller. 12 weeks in total for the sale to go through …would definitely recommend Dacre and Alison for your house sale or purchase

Such a disappointing service from Dacres. Getting to the point of having your home valued is a big thing, especially in the current climate. And having worked hard on making significant improvements to the house, the descriptions received by the valuer were unfair, mostly negative and insulting. There was a lot of talking and very little listening. Realistic and constructively critical comments are one thing, insults are another and there are ways in which you can support and guide a potential vendor without making them feel so uncomfortable and upset in the process. Sadly, this isn't an estate agent I would either recommend or use based on this.

Sold house via Dacres, not a fast process from them, took ages to upload our home on different websites. Sara was the best, more helpful then anyone else there. We been advised the house will be available on different websites inc: Right move etc, on some websites the house not appeared. also been told we will get shoe cover (never got it). been told we potentially can get 200-215 for the house and once we received the first offer of 195 benn told to accept this as we won't get anything better. Not a great service. Not using Morley service again

GoogleThe sale of mums bungalow has been very challenging due to the local clauses put on it when my parents bought it . Tom was very helpful in getting to the bottom of it . I would definitely recommend using their services .

GoogleWe've just completed our house purchase from Dacres in Settle. We have been looking for a house in the Dales for a long time and when we saw this one advertised we made an appoint to view it straight away and made our offer. Tom, Andrew, Mel and Anthea were really good to deal with. Anthea showed us around the house and then Tom talked me through making the offer. We love the house and the area and are so grateful for Dacres assistance. Without them it wouldn't have been possible!

GoogleWe recently bought a property using Dacre, son and Hartley. The office staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Communication between us and the vendors was handled promptly mainly by Tom the office manager. Anthea from the office showed us around the property and was extremely helpful. She took the time to write out a list of places to visit in the area once the sale progressed. Melanie was also very good at getting back to us about any queries we raised. The new office worker Andrew was very polite and helpful too. Tom has a very efficient and friendly team working in Settle. They are all knowledgeable and appear to take a pride in their working relationships with clients. When the sale was finalised we got a very unexpected gift from the office. They handed us a fabulous gift hamper box which had useful coupons and money off products bought at AO for example. We got £30 off the price of a washing machine. There were chocolates, sweets and washing and cleaning products all of which were very useful. It was such a nice gesture and something we have never had from an estate agent before. Thank you to all the team in Settle for doing such a super job !

Terrible service, unethical and will screw you over as a buyer as soon as look at you. Had an issue with our sale, but they stated they'd keep the chain together. They didn't, they have said they were contacted by someone who found out, but there was no need to do this. We were back procedable by the Wednesday. On the Thursday EVENING they showed the property again, having never informed us this was happening.

FacebookI really can’t thank the team at Dacre Son & Hartley Morley enough for the way in which they recently handled the sale of my late mums property. From the initial valuation all the way through to completion they were professional, proactive and extremely supportive. But more importantly they cared - about mum and dads home, and about the family. Communications were excellent, honest and nothing was too much trouble. I have moved homes a few times over the years and I have never experienced such a caring and professional service from an Estate Agent. Would highly recommend without question.

GoogleI can't praise the team at Dacre, Son & Hartley (Settle) highly enough. They were open, human and honest. Throughout the inevitably worrying time of selling your home, they are sympathetic and understanding. Highly organised and very efficient, they always called me back and were able to co-ordinate a complex chain, taking time to ensure that communication with all parties was good. Where chasing was needed they were able to keep the momentum needed. I think a special mention should go to Tom who really went out of his way to make sure that everything ran smoothly and always kept us up to date. If you are selling your house in this area - commission them, you won't regret it.

As per the 15+ negative reviews already written about this so called Agency NOTHING has changed. Thank God that due to their sharp practice I a cash buyer was not even disclosed to the seller nor afforded a viewing of the property I wished to purchase. I was told," Don't bother going to the house it's just been sold". I was 2miles from the house on the Date and Time agreed for my "Viewing" !!!! It transpired it was sold the day before and they didn't have the courtesy to tell me nor the owner who wanted a "Cash Buyer" NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!!!

I recently purchased a property from this company through their Knaresborough branch.On the day of completion I was advised by my solicitor after the monies had all been transferred to contact them regarding the release of the keys.I did so and spoke to the rudest person I have come across for a long time called Anita.She was most unhelpful and could not wait to put the phone down on me.I had to stop her several time from disconnecting the call in order to find out when the keys would be available.This is not what you expect on the day of moving which is stressful enough.Customer service training definitely needed
