Poor communication ! Unprofessional service, made an offer on property and placed on waiting list before a decision was made . Thereafter kept in dark until an attempt was made for some feedback by phoning Office direct, only to be told that someone would phone back to let me know state of progress. No one ever did thereafter! Property in question now sold as it has been taken off website. Would have liked to have been kept informed but ??? Inspires confidence with any future transactions with this company (who like any estate agents asks for feedback ) but appear not to communicate themselves ! This Company is usually okay in past transactions but not this time .

Lovely agency. We worked with Katie and Kelly and they were absolutely patient and supportive throughout a really long process because of issues with the land registry etc, which they handled really wonderfully. And on completion day, Kelly very kindly waited for us to collect the keys when we got totally bottled in traffic. Highly recommended

We recently bought a property using Dacre, son and Hartley. The office staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Communication between us and the vendors was handled promptly mainly by Tom the office manager. Anthea from the office showed us around the property and was extremely helpful. She took the time to write out a list of places to visit in the area once the sale progressed. Melanie was also very good at getting back to us about any queries we raised. The new office worker Andrew was very polite and helpful too. Tom has a very efficient and friendly team working in Settle. They are all knowledgeable and appear to take a pride in their working relationships with clients. When the sale was finalised we got a very unexpected gift from the office. They handed us a fabulous gift hamper box which had useful coupons and money off products bought at AO for example. We got £30 off the price of a washing machine. There were chocolates, sweets and washing and cleaning products all of which were very useful. It was such a nice gesture and something we have never had from an estate agent before. Thank you to all the team in Settle for doing such a super job !
