Always on hand, we were really impressed with the service they provided in both our sale and purchase. Andy has been truly amazing during the process of my house move, even taking on the task of chasing the Solicitors and Vendor when I wasn't getting answers, he made everything run smoothly and was always on the other end of the phone if needed and confirming everything with me so I knew paperwork was being completed. Eva showed me around the house initially and dealt with my offer and buying of the house and was lovely when doing this. I would highly recommend CJ Hole in Downend and would definitely use them if I ever sell and buy again.

Without Prejudice CJ Hole Downend Lets (landlord's review) UNRELIABLE INEXPERIENCED CREATIVE WITH THE TRUTH I felt that I had to manage the agents managing the property. This was my first year renting out my flat and I did not have peace of mind. why? -failure to inform the council of outgoing and incoming tenants regarding council tax, nor inform them of an accurate period of unoccupancy. INSTEAD I HAD TO SORT IT OUT - failure to set up a check in inventory which I only found at the end of the tenancy. Instead, I was lied to, saying that I had had a telephone conversation with them and chose not to have one. SAY WHAT! No written proof, of course. -failure to understand basic contract law. Telling me that I had to give 6 months notice within a 6 month assured shorthold fixed term contract. ARE YOU GUYS FOR REAL! I then go into their offices and explain to CJ Hole the difference between a fixed term and a periodic and the notice period required for landlords. (ps. please do not respond by saying "you were only trying to do your best".)

I bought a house through the Southville branch recently. It wasn't an easy process due to the (bank-appointed) solicitors involved being somewhat less than perfect. However, CJ Hole's assigned Sale Progressor, Ollie, was incredibly helpful, proactive and reassuring. The sale went through roughly on time - which I regard as a minor miracle - and I have Ollie and the rest of the office staff to thank for that. When I eventually come to sell this house I'll be using CJ Hole.

We have dealt with several other estate agents recently and this team was head and shoulders above the rest. Milli and the team have been brilliantly helpful, in securing us the perfect rental property. Milli was able to give me all the information about the property and has been really helpful in making arrangements with the furniture, white goods, moving in dates etc. Everything has happened so quickly and efficiently with what feels like minimal effort. After recently passing my Residential Letting and Property Management and Sale of Residential Property qualifications, I had a good idea of the procedures and service that should be provided. I am glad to say that the team went above and beyond and it was the best experience I have had at letting so far. Frankie Bath who I dealt with personally was so professional and had incredible interpersonal skills. Frankie really made the whole experience enjoyable, made sure that we understood and were happy with every part of the contract. The service which I received from Frankie was exceptional in every way, reducing levels of stress by keeping us well informed at all stages of the process. Having letting property before I know this is not always the case and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Estate agents often have a bad reputation but my experience with CJ Hole was fantastic. The house was sold within one day by George for a price I was really happy with but the real star for me was Kim. She kept the chain moving along despite some major difficulties from my vendors side. Without her tenacity and effort the completion date would have just kept moving further away. When you have experienced other estate agents it makes you realise how good these guys are.
