GoogleGeorgina Barnes was very helpful, but the move in wasn't great if I'm honest. I moved into a dirty room, with flies on the windowsill, dust all over, stains in the toilet and a mattress and bed that must be 15+ years old and is completely knackered! On complaining about the state of the furniture in the room, their reply was 'Well you've letted it as seen'. I'm sorry, but I don't know many people who will try out a bed on looking around a room. I then told them I have a bed myself and would like to swap it, to which the response was 'well you have to get rid of it yourself now'. Fantastic. I've got rid of the bed, but have had to use the same mattress for a couple of days. It's been severely itchy and I've now got a rash on my back/chest from it. The maintenance and upkeep of these shared houses, managed under CJ Hole are disgusting. It really does show why a Landlord should take charge of their own properties, as it reflects badly on them. I'm happy at least that the housemates are great and that after a bit of TLC and a new mattress, I'll be happy. I won't be using them again after this tenancy.

They perhaps could have been a bit clearer when my buyer was negotiating on points raised in the survey but we got there in the end. There was an error when it came to paying their fee which was easily rectified. Overall they were extremely good and responsive and I would use them again.

Edward contacted me the same day to advise what could and couldn’t be done due to circumstances we were in at the time. Out of all the estate agents in Burnham only two responded to my valuation request via their websites and the second took a week to respond. Now, we have not been able to shower at all for over a week and they are ignoring our emails.
It has got to the point where I have had to contact the council to do the repairs.
I have previously had issues with CJ hole sending unannounced contractors (with keys to our house!) On several occasions.
Do not let or buy from or with this company.

GoogleMy partner called there offices of numerous times and different days to try and book a viewing but could never get through. We had to go through sales who advised they had one person in on lettings who was at a viewing and a call back promised. Never happened. We are relocating from West Midlands to Burnham on sea and luckily was down for another viewing so was able to walk in the office. Once again no one from lettings was in. We did manage to book a viewing through the sales team. Between booking the viewing and the actual date we found an alternative property so tried to call the offices to cancel. Once again no answer. I then received a snotty email from Matt because we never turned up for the viewing.
I pointed out to Matt we had tried to call numerous times but couldn’t reach anyone. I also pointed out other professional estate agents we had used called us the day before to confirm the booking was still going ahead.
Matt needs to remember who customers are and how to communicate with them. Very unprofessional to send snotty emails and blame the potential customers for not being at a viewing when we had tried to notify you.
I don’t leave reviews often especially for a company we never actually needed but they were rude and unprofessional. I can’t imagine letting or buying a property and then needing there after care.

GoogleI would happily recomend CJ Hole. I recently sold my late parents house using CJ Hole. I was provided with feedback details of all viewer and the property was sold STC after less than 2 weeks. It was an empty house for first time buyers. Unfortunately the buyers made a particularly poor choice of conveyancers which had an impact on how quickly things proceeded. CJ Hole kept in constant contact with both me and my solicitors regarding these shortcoming by the buyers conveyancers. They kept chasing the buyers leagal advisors and got things completed. Big thanks to Andy & the team who alway responded to my incresing nmber of email promptly and profesionally. The sale has just completed to big sighs of delight all around.
