GoogleWe cannot thank Catherine at Hunters Crookes enough. The last few months have been some of the hardest of our lives. My dad passed away in May, leaving my younger brother who has autism without his dad and without his full time carer. He had to move in with us temporarily, and while we were still trying to adjust to suddenly becoming his carers and trying to grieve, we then found out our landlord was selling our house and what we thought was going to be our forever home. It felt like the final straw. At a time when we were already fighting battles with social services, the council and MPs just to get my brother the help he needs, the thought of having to move felt impossible. We simply did not think we had the strength or energy left. Catherine changed that. She understood our situation from the very beginning and went out of her way to take away as much stress as possible. She reassured us, was always patient with my endless questions, and treated us with genuine compassion. Thanks to her, within just three weeks of finding out we needed to move, we now have the a home to move into that is absolutely perfect for us. This move means more than just a roof over our heads. It means my niece gets her bedroom back after having to lend it to my brother, giving her back her safe space after losing her Gan Gan. It means we can finally start to find some stability and hopefully some space to grieve properly. Catherine is brilliant at her job and an absolute assert to Hunters Estate Agents. Catherine, thank you for giving us hope when we thought there was none. You have no idea how much difference you have made to our family.

I have just started renting with Hunters and from my initial enquiry about the property Catherine has been there to answer every question, support my application and ensure everything was ready for me to move in. GoogleI had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Preeti Sahni. She is extremely arrogant, speaks to clients with distrust and condescension, and shows no professionalism. I paid six months’ deposit in advance, but because she did not receive it immediately, she called me in an accusatory and hostile tone, questioning me as if I had done something wrong. When she eventually received the payment, she did not apologise at all. A manager with no sense of courtesy, respect, or basic professionalism. She only cares about money and ignores tenants’ concerns about property quality and safety. From the very first day we moved in, the balcony door and several windows could not even be opened, a serious safety hazard. Her response? “As long as one window in one room opens, that’s enough.” Unbelievable. For three years, no repairs were ever carried out. She hides behind so-called “legal” excuses to avoid responsibility, rather than addressing real issues. This is not the behaviour of a responsible estate manager. If you value professionalism, integrity, and basic respect as a tenant or client, I strongly advise you to avoid Preeti Sahni.
