Delighted with Hunters Yeadon for all aspects of our sale and purchase. As a sale, they (David) were clearly the most insightful agent for our estate (Tranmere Park), and obtained an excellent price for us within a matter of days of going on market. To help get us over the exchange and completion line, Helena was first class in managing the chain. On completion day, there was a team of 5 in the office to resolve all matters, and I loved their "congratulations" pack with our keys for our purchaser. Nice touch on a special day. In contrast, the agent we were picking up our purchase keys from had 2 miserable staff, didn't even have the keys and were simply pathetic and rude. Their 0 star review is next! But 6 stars to Hunters, David and Helena!

The team were also professional, friendly and great at accommodating the restrictions that we had regarding viewings. Excellent selling process from start to finish If you’re here then it’s likely you’re reviewing which estate agent to trust with selling your property, we have just completed with Hunters and we can’t fault the process or the level of service we received from each and every member of staff at the Yeadon branch. Having first made the mistake of entrusting another local agent with our sale and only achieving 3 enquiries in 6 weeks we approached David and his team for advice and decided to have one last shot at selling in what was a difficult time in the housing market. We got a firm offer within 24 hours of listing and with David’s negotiation achieved 98.6% of the valuation price. We just bought our first home with Hunters, Yeadon. We had a few obstacles on the way which they helped us navigate with the seller and overall it was a positive experience and we will be going back when we come to sell! Kim and Emma always answered the phones and were always happy to help with any query. Claire was fantastic! We had an awful solicitor who didn't respond or give us important information that we needed to know about the selling process. Having previously worked for a solicitor, Claire answered lots of my questions on that and guided us through. When the solicitor was three days late completing and still asking for financial information at 4pm on the day they completed my stress level were through the roof and Claire provided emotional support and guidance on this which I will forever be grateful for. She was even willing to stay online beyond her working hours until the sale had gone through (which luckily it did at 4:55pm) to make sure we were sorted and ok. Claire made me feel like I had a friend holding my hand which was invaluable being a first time buyer with a terrible solicitor. Thank you Claire. Finally, when the sale had completed, Kim and Emma waited in the office for us so we could get the keys (just as they closed), Thank you Kim and Emma!

Not usually given to post on Ratings, in this case I'm making an exception lengthily, to applaud one particular first-class property Lettings service I experienced continually over the last 11 years. The Yeadon Branch of Hunters, led by David and his team, kept my property tenanted and managed for all that time, and finally led successfully on its sale. Over 44 years ago I had to start Letting property AND to have Full Agents to do so, rather unwillingly, but constrained by my circumstances. In all that time and over many parts of UK, I have tenanted out domestic property and have had to use local Agents for on-going full management. All too many such Agents turn(ed) out to be more continual trouble and more stress-inducing than most tenants ever were - but never Hunters in Yeadon. Despite their first assurances, some bigger Agencies often proved far from local, and actually turned out to be 'national' in the sense of having their support elements outsourced and operating from different places in UK. This often left me with no idea of who was responsible for what - often getting replies saying "... but that's not our job here" or "...I wasn't actually employed here then..." or "... after our recent business re-organisation, our IT systems change-over hasn't completed yet..." - and how 'excited' they were to announce a new Landlord portal or a new Central Control for some aspect, but proving as short-lived and inefficient as some of the operatives in their local Branch. Of course there were sometimes exceptions but, sadly, often in the end inconsistently so. Yeadon Hunters prove that all these hassles this need not be so. The Yeadon Team genuinely proved to be a model of what I found best over the last decades. They invariably gave me a total service locally in-office, hands firmly on all the issues themselves, real-time and effective replies to my messages, using trusted local tradesmen at fair prices, due sense of urgency and need for updates, and letting me benefit from knowledgeable discussion with professional, personable, known individuals whom I came to trust implicitly. A real breath of fresh air !
