Please see review by Peter Wigglesworth below. We were left with a house that was not adequately insulated in the winter, and a fridge/freezer that did not work (due to the cold temperature in our kitchen interfering with a mechanism within the fridge). Hunter's were appalling at communicating with us and refused to release our deposit when we left in order to live in a warm house with working white goods. After an investigation we received our deposit as there was no evidence of leaving the house with excess wear an tear . Most disturbing to me are the lies told in response to my partner's (Peter Wigglesworth) review below. I, his partner, did not send a letter praising their service, and never will. We did not leave the house in poor condition, as confirmed by an investigation, and actually did repairs ourselves that the landlord should have done. Hunter's are liars, cheats and absolutely do not take care of the tenants. Do not rent with hunter's unless you're happy to spend time living in substandard rental conditions and fighting for money that is rightfully yours.

Absolutely terrific estate agents, very helpful and made the transition of moving in so much easier than it should of been. I'm dissatisfied with one of your agents, Billy. She canceled my property viewing for today. Because she doesn't want to waste her time to go and show me this property. In addition, I didn't book a viewing with her, I did book with another agent. I was really interested in this property. But at the moment I'm very disappointed with your service!

In the end, we got the house we really wanted at first. Special thanks to Billie, she’s efficient and accommodating. Paul and Sue helped make the whole process quick and stress-free. Paul’s recommendation to use their in-house solicitor was one of the best choices we’ve made. Thank you guys!

We’ve had some interesting experiences with estate agents in the past, but we were pleasantly surprised with the great service provided by Hunters; particularly Billie Booth, who was our main point of contact during the purchase process. She’s been pleasant, efficient and, most importantly, responsive, from our first viewings right up until we collected our keys. It was also a comfort knowing that Sue was chasing both ends of the deal to move things along and stay informed of where we were at in the process. We are exceptionally grateful to the Hunters Crookes branch and especially Amy Buckley for the excellent service they provided in helping us sell our first house. They did a great job attracting viewings and good offers in a short space of time. Also, we had a complicated situation as we were buying a property in the US where the sellers needed a lot of reassurance through the process of our sale. This was made much less stressful by Amy's friendly, helpful and prompt communication, which enabled the process to move ahead as quickly as possible and kept us well informed.

The sales team were great and kept me up to date weekly calls. Especially Alex and Shaheel who dealt who secured the sale of my house. They were very efficient and kept me well informed throughout the process which was stressful. It was an emotional time for my family and Hunters were very attentive. David and team have been great, they sold the house within a week of it being online - the board went up on Thursday and was sold by Saturday!! David's expertise helped us get a better price than other agents had valued the property at.

We have had our property on the market with Hunters Sutton Coldfield for the last 8 weeks in an effort to move closer to family before our next baby arrives. During that time they have done everything and more to try and help us find a buyer. Proactive, polite, professional and contactable even at weekends - Whilst we weren't successful in selling our property in the short time we had, I highly recommend this team (Faye, Robyn, Jane, Janice, Kimberley) and will definitely go back to Hunters when we want to try and sell our property again.
