Great customer service, nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand with help and good advice when it was required. They also sold my house for £6,000 more than another local agent told me it was worth!

Poor customer service from the agent who came to see us, and no contact after viewing our property until a courtesy call came from someone else at the office (in the meantime we had both listed and agreed a sale on the property)

I had such a fantastic, efficient and professional service from the team at Dacre, Son & Hartley Skipton. They made the moving experience an enjoyable and personal one, and I really felt as though each of the team members I talked too was pleased and excited for me and my move. A very special thank you to Aleysha though, who processed everything so quickly, and who was so accessible and approachable, even when it came to the small things (questions about the colour of the blinds). Thank you for making this move easy, straightforward and exciting!!

The Dacres team were fantastic throughout my house purchase. They made communication very efficient between myself and the vendor. Very patient and professional. Very happy with the service I received, and they also took their sign down very quick which I thought was good and professional. Sometimes it's the small things.

Very poor communication. Made offer at asking price yet Dacres didn't keep vendors informed and I had to intervene personally to stop others viewing and buying. My purchase has been delayed since end of October because new build ( being sold by Dacres ) is not fit for signing off. Have yet to get a completion date.. Not a word from Dacres since mid December! Am only glad they are not dealing with my sale!

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and for your feedback and we are sorry if you feel that you haven’t had the service expected. The sale you refer to was being dealt with through another office. We can see you made an offer for the property to the Ilkley Office on the 4th Sept and this was passed to the correct office immediately. For some reason it took until the 18th of Sept for you to confirm proof of funding and you will appreciate that we have to protect our clients position and cannot mark a property as ‘under offer’ until we are reasonably certain that a proposed buyer can proceed. Whilst we recognise and value your custom we are duty bound to act in our client’s best interests. With regard to our client’s onward purchase, this was within a major mill redevelopment and unfortunately the complexity of the scheme and nature of the build programme is such that completion of the scheme has been difficult to pin down. This is beyond our control and we have passed on as soon as possible the limited updates we have received.

My dad uses this company to rent his house out, we had a valuation done a few weeks by a seperate company and the man tnat did the valuation came back and said the house was filthy they had lied about the size of dog they had and he was unable to use any photographs to advertise the house as it is in such a bad state! I contacted davre son and hartley and expressed our conserns and got told by the lady i spoke to that she did not deal with this stuff so would email tne information through to the relevant person and i would be contacted. This never happened so i called back and i got put through to the correct person, i was told an inspection would be done and if it was as bad as i was told then they would be giben a week to sort it out and another inspection would be done, i also asked for pictures of the house and was told i would get them, i have still not heard back from them and it has been at least 2 weeks since we had any contact. I will be trying to contact them again on monday morning. At the very least they could have sent my father a letter he is a very ill elderly man and is worried sick about his only investment i am disgusted with this place!
