Dreadful, stressful experience. Tenant referenced through Homelet. Pointless referencing as they accept word of tenant that everything they put down on form is accurate. Anybody could rent a million pound house through Dacres and lie about their details as nothing is checked by Homelet. Use at your peril!

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest service to our customers and we are confident in the service that Homelet provides. As you know the letting of your property was on a let only agreement with Dacres and the checks were done some time ago with problems arising after the initial tenancy period. Your tenant passed these necessary reference checks. As soon as we were made aware of your concerns regarding the tenant, we raised your complaint with Homelet who investigated and found no issues with the checks they had processed. Our Head of Residential Lettings and Property Management has been in regular contact with yourself and has twice arranged to meet with you to discuss your concerns. If you wish to meet and discuss this in person please do not hesitate to contact us

we didn't get off to a great start this was not at no fault of their own this was down to me not understanding the process, however throughout they remained sympathetic and professional to which I think they don't get the credit they deserve, Aleysha, Dee & Rachel were amazing to deal with....I would most defiantly recommend them Thank you all for your help guys it is truly appreciated...….

Do not use their sales services. My house was on the market for months on end, they reduced the price drastically and still not a single viewing. After three months, the house was rented out by the lettings team in Dacre, son and Hartley and the sales team, Emma, branch manager at north Leeds is trying her best efforts to charge me a withdrawal fee even though a member of Dacre, Son and Hartley lettings has signed a lettings contract for the same property. Ridiculous!

What a Fantastic team at Dacres Harrogate, very professional yet friendly, throughout the process of selling my house I have been kept up to date on all aspects of the sale, Georgie Williams handled our sale and always kept us updated, she was a huge help and always available to answer any queries. Major problems with my solicitors, whose inefficiency turned a straightforward conveyancing deal into a major production, caused numerous unnecessary delays in my house purchase. Frequent calls to my solicitors often went unanswered and if it hadn't to been for the dedicated staff at the Skipton branch of Dacre, Son and Hartley, I am not all sure that the purchase would gone through yet! I have nothing but praise for the way they dealt with a difficult situation. A situation not of their own making! Lesley A. Terry

Couldn't have wished for a more helpful and smooth journey when looking for our new home. Aleysha has been fantastic start to finish providing me with any information i needed, going out of her way to help me get things sorted and overall making it an enjoyable experience rather than the usual stress that comes along with a move. I would never recommend this Company to let a property out. Emma Kerrywood Head of Lettings washes her hands of landlords with crooks which have gained access to landlords homes due to the poor referencing undertaken by Homelet, the company Dacre Son & Hartley use to reference tenants. Use at your peril.
