GoogleBrilliant. Dacres Skipton were fantastic with my house sale. Mark obviously knows his area well, and after recommending a higher list price than another agent had, managed to secure an asking price offer on the first viewing. We had challenging buyers who had haphazard solicitors but Mark and Harriet did a superb job of managing the relationship with the buyer and smoothing a path that ultimately allowed completion by the date planned. The team were always easy to get hold of throughout the process and went above and beyond to make sure the transaction kept on track and all parties were kept up to date. It’s not often you get this combination of sales skill and keen customer focus, but it’s worth its weight in gold. Dacres were very competitive and the whole team - Mark, Harriet and Jacob were a pleasure to deal with and ultimate professionals. Thank you to the team, and you should be very proud of what you do: helping people be happier in life by achieving their property goals.

FacebookI used dacres to sell my house. My solicitor paid their bill the day it was provided but I was shocked to receive intimidating emails from them threatening legal action because THEY had fraudulently forgotten/did not add the VAT. I lost money getting funds from long term investments because of their incompetence.

GoogleMy wife and I have recently used the services of Dacre, Son & Hartley in Harrogate to sell our property and we can highly recommend them. The quality of a business is often reflected by the way they tackle difficult situations, and having experiences numerous highs and lows in our sales process, I can honestly say the staff at Dacre pulled out a all the stops to finally get us over the line, liaising with both purchaser, purchaser’s agent and solicitor to keep everything on track when on a number of occasions things looked bleak. From the outset Paul, Anita and Georgie were a delight to work with and certainly earned every penny of their fee. Thanks again team Dacre.

It was a long drawn out process but nothing was to much trouble and there was always a cheery voice at the end of the phone. GoogleTom and the team were all exactly what we would hope for in an agent. They know their local market well, they are all trustworthy and very personable. We felt at ease leaving them to take control of our sale and the conveyancer they recommended was great. They were all very helpful during the legal process and helped communication go smoothly. We had initially tried to sell with a different agent and got little response, but Tom and the team essentially rescued us. We appreciate their work and would certainly recommend them.
