Having just traveled for over an hour and a half to view a property to find the information totally inaccurate. No dishwasher as advertised ,or room to put one , no en-suite shower as advertised , not a gas hob as advertised. The property advertised as a block of 6 residential Park Homes but there was at least 12 and other holiday homes nearby. The gentleman that showed us around was pleasant enough but embarrassed when these points were raised and not very knowledgeable when we asked questions about the property. This was a complete waste of time viewing the property and very unprofessional service from the Company.

I can't praise the team at Dacre, Son & Hartley (Settle) highly enough. They were open, human and honest. Throughout the inevitably worrying time of selling your home, they are sympathetic and understanding. Highly organised and very efficient, they always called me back and were able to co-ordinate a complex chain, taking time to ensure that communication with all parties was good. Where chasing was needed they were able to keep the momentum needed. I think a special mention should go to Tom who really went out of his way to make sure that everything ran smoothly and always kept us up to date. If you are selling your house in this area - commission them, you won't regret it.

My partner and I have just had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Amber, for our very first house purchase. Following a rather heartbreaking experience after the first property we attempted to purchase fell through, we were very apprehensive on starting the entire process again. However, from the word go, Amber was attentive, supportive and extremely kind. Our first viewing of the property was a lovely experience, and Amber introduced us to the previous owners in a way that put everyone at ease immediately. She was extremely thorough with her tour, and no question was a silly one. We didn’t feel rushed and even had time to sit with the previous owner, which made the experience much more personal and feel a lot less formal and transactional. She had our back from the start, asking the hard questions, making the difficult calls, and doing what she could to secure us our dream first home. Whether we wished to view the property, ask something of the owners, communicate with other solicitors (the list is endless), Amber was there and got on the phone immediately. There was even a point where our move in date had to be pushed back due to the lack of removals companies for the sellers, and Amber was ringing every removal company in existence to try and keep the original date for us. Things like this happen and she could have easily taken the easy road and explained there was nothing she could do, but the fact she tried everything was fantastic. We will always be thankful to Amber for making the entire experience as pain free and as easy as possible. We were supported throughout and there was nothing that Amber wouldn’t attempt to solve or help us with. Even since we’ve moved in, we’ve felt comfortable enough to ring her up with things that are possibly a little silly to ask, but have still received the same amount of support as we did when we were right at the beginning of the process. Thank you Amber, you’re a star! Ollie and Lu.
