We recently bought our home through Dacre, Son & Hartley in Burley-in-Wharfedale and honestly, we couldn't be happier with how everything went. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable, which isn’t something you often hear when it comes to buying a house! Will and Sally were both absolutely brilliant. Will was friendly, professional, and really took the time to make sure we felt comfortable and informed at every step. He was always available to answer questions, kept us in the loop, and made the whole process feel really personal. Sally was equally fantastic, calm, supportive, and incredibly organised. She quietly made sure everything stayed on track and was such a reassuring presence during the more stressful moments. We used Dacre in Settle initially to try and sell a property. I worked closely with Tom, the manager, and despite regular contact and Tom following instructions quickly to amend the price on a couple of occasions, we weren’t able to sell. Tom clearly explained what the market conditions are and helped to manage my expectations accordingly. Therefore, I decided to let the property. Tom and his team did everything needed to get this done as quickly as possible and I’d highly recommend using Dacre at Settle again.
