GoogleI honestly find these reviews rather surprising. Either something has changed dramatically since last year or they just don't treat everyone equally. I rented a flat about 2 months ago simply because it is a nice flat. The negotiator, seemed really bored and disengaged during the viewing. There were small things that needed fixing (e.g. silicone in the bathroom needed replacing) and I was told that they will be dealt with before I move in. Since I signed a contract and paid over £600 fees they've stopped having interest in me. The mould is still flourishing in the bathroom and I've never received a reply to my comments on the inventory (Landlords beware!). When I visited the branch I was told that everything is going to be done for me, but it never was. A couple of chasing emails also remain unanswered, so I just stopped to bother with them. For the price almost twice as expensive as in most competitors I would expect a better customer service, sadly I was mistaken.

GoogleAs a cleaning contractor we have worked with many letting agencies in and around Cardiff. Taylors have proven to be head & shoulder above the rest in terms of organisation & professionalism. GoogleOne of the worst lettings agencies! The branch in watford is extremely unreliable. I wanted to take a property after viewing it and wes told that we have all chances to get it. They have demanded additional Administrator charges in order to put our offer through to the Landlord. At the end of the day they said the property is gone even though I was the first to view the property and make an offer with the asking price to the landlord. Very dissapointed !

GoogleI had the misfortune of reserving a 4 bed New Build home (in High street, Leagrave) through these people. Initially it was all the sweet talking from the sales guy Ian Causton, but as soon as we reserved the property paying £500, he started advertising the property again to potential buyers. In the meantime I had got the mortgage & help to buy setup. I had already spent money on financial advisers and the mortgage fee. A couple of days back Ian from this Leagrave branch gave me a call to inform me that they are pulling out of this deal & want to give the plot to someone else... this is not just gazumping but clear case of cheating customers. These people are extremely unprofessional, rude and greedy. Imagine their greed if they keep marketing properties which are reserved - just to get higher commission ! I have since escalated their unethical practises to their head office. Beware of this con-team ! I'm also considering complaining to the Property Ombudsmen.

We were the agent instructed by the developer of the new home plot but unfortunately the developer had decided to withdraw this particular plot in favour of another party, which unfortunately they are able to do. As the agent, we are the contact point for the buyer and fully understand your frustration to lose the property that you wanted to buy, however we did work hard to rectify the situation and have managed to get an agreement for the developer to refund the buyers costs. The team at the leagrave branch have been exceptionally patient and understanding during the process. GoogleI have got to start by congratulating the Branch Manager, Ian Causton, for his attention to detail, thorough knowledge, and calm, professional approach. Without his leverage in acting with / towards ALL the relevant links in the chain, I have no doubt matters would NOT have been brought to what transpired to be a very satisfactory completion. Why not 5 stars? I feel there is [as is often the case] a need for some of the negotiation team to learn how to "curb their enthusiasm to CLOSE at all costs" when a customer's SPECIFIC REQUESTS are clear, concise and to the point. Had we been persuaded by some of the patter it may well have cost us severely! My honest advice would be, if your circumstances allow you to, that you stick to your guns on price and don't be persuaded into accepting a short-change deal That aside, our overall experience is one of satisfaction. Taylors matched our property to the correct client, we got what we wanted and are happy to see a lovely family move into the home which we have enjoyed and grown with for nearly thirty years. GoogleVerging upon criminals. Repeatedly asked us for rent that had already been paid. Took out rent from one of my housemates, after the lease had ended. Didn't pay our deposit back for our rent, despite having clearly agreed a fee. Dodged our calls and general tried to avoid us. Only resolved when we threatened to take them to small claims court. Then tried to claim that we hadn't returned all the keys, despite having an email thread that confirmed otherwise. They will try and take all the money you have by whatever disingenuous means. NEVER USE THEM PS. Jack Strickland who has given a five star review is one of the people we were in contact with at Taylor's.

GoogleI have been using Watford Taylors for a number of years now for lettings and sales. The experience has been phenomenal. Rachel Harris in lettings gets the best rents and hassle free tenants and gives great support and advice, always there to help. Steve has been awesome on the sales side, again great advice and support. Highly recommend Watford Taylors to anyone. Don't think about using them, just do it....!
