If you’re here then it’s likely you’re reviewing which estate agent to trust with selling your property, we have just completed with Hunters and we can’t fault the process or the level of service we received from each and every member of staff at the Yeadon branch.
Having first made the mistake of entrusting another local agent with our sale and only achieving 3 enquiries in 6 weeks we approached David and his team for advice and decided to have one last shot at selling in what was a difficult time in the housing market. We got a firm offer within 24 hours of listing and with David’s negotiation achieved 98.6% of the valuation price.

GoogleIf I could give these estate agents 0 stars I would! So unhelpful and frankly rude to speak to. Completely washed their hands of any issues I was experiencing with a breach of the tenancy agreement by the landlord which they had drafted up themselves and facilitated. Then, after I was due the deposit back, they did not return this despite me ringing multiple times- all they did was blame one of their colleagues for going on leave. I was delayed in getting over £1000 back for nearly two whole months despite no disputes raised by the landlord. Do not use these estate agents. What a disappointing experience and such little empathy for my situation as a tenant.

We are very sorry to hear of your disappointing experience with Hunters. We must point out that Hunters facilitated the Tenancy Agreement on behalf of the Landlord on a tenant find basis. Hunters did not manage the property nor did Hunters hold the deposit on your behalf of you or the Landlord. The deposit was transferred to the Landlord or should we say their custodial account at the beginning of the Tenancy. As we were not holding the deposit the request for the return of the deposit would not have been made by Hunters. This is totally out of our hands. Therefore, we are very sorry that your landlord did not deal with the return of your deposit in a timely manner.
Again, we are sorry that you had a poor experience and wish you every sympathy at the situation you were left in by your Landlord.
