We were selling our home and that of my In Laws. After getting the usual three valuations we plumped for Hunters, asking them to sell both houses mainly because of their business model. As a franchise their Franchisee has a vested interest in negotiating a successful sale, not least because its his/her business and living. David Metcalfe was very positive that he could sell both properties without delay. That he did, selling our house within two days and my In Laws within a week. Both sales were to prove protracted and difficult for various reasons but David and his team were pro-active in their negotiations with others in the two chains, ensuring we were kept informed and acting in liaison with our solicitor to ensure exchange and completion. They are a breath of fresh air in a business which at times does not enjoy a good press. I am happy to recommend them.

I was blown away with the level of service I received from Hunters. Been a first time buyer we had no idea what we was doing or the terminology that goes with it, Hunters where very easy to talk to and I never felt like I was bothering them by calling them to ask silly questions, they always answered my calls/ emails in a speedy manor which really gave me confidence. We spoke to Kim and booked a viewing for when it suited us, and she was very polite and professional when showing us round the property and you could really tell the level of enthusiasm and care. Even before viewing the property we knew we wanted to put a offer in due to how good the advert was, so many pictures and plenty of information, we rang back the next day and put our offer in, unfortunately the first offer wasn't excepted but we got a call back within minutes and wasn't left waiting around, luckily our 2nd offer was accepted and this is when Kim and the team surprised us the most with the communication about moving dates etc. We never felt like we had to chase anything up, they was always on the money. I cannot honestly not praise the Yeadon team enough, after dealing with other estate agents who really didn't seem to care, it was a pleasure to deal with them. Well done guys

I recently bought a house through this agency and it was one of the most painful experiences of my life. Admittedly not all of this was due to Hunters, but there was a litany of poor communication that made it even harder - phone calls I couldn't answer while in meetings, and when I phoned back 15 minutes later no one could tell me why they had phoned, failure to phone me back and answer queries that I had been promised answers to, and about 4 weeks when the whole process stalled, there was no communication at all, and every time I phoned up to chase up the lack of progress I got the same stock 'we're just waiting for some queries' with no acknowledgement of concerns previously raised. Now that I have moved in and discovered the plumbing problems (on day 3), I really wish I had pulled out when I threatened to.
