I have purchased two rental properties which Enfields have tenanted. They have always kept me informed & updated...... even when a tenant let me down the day before they were due to move in Rhys found an alternative, and prospectively longer term tenant within 48 hours.

Enfields have been difficult to work with, often dodging issues or not responding at all. They will be very prompt asking for fees, however will often completely ignore any issues you have regarding the property. Most staff seem friendly and will at least attempt to assist you. Apart from Alex, who is the rudest estate agent I've had the displeasure of dealing with. Throughout several exchanges as soon as I have to deal with him, it is obvious I'm just going to get no assistance at all or a shift of blame. If you're using this company, be sure to photograph every tiny little blemish and individual object when you move in as they will try charge you for this when you move out.

It is a real shame to hear that we didn’t live up to your expectations on this occasion. I would like to take this opportunity to clarify some of your points raised above. As an estate and letting agency we pride ourselves on offering a number of different services which include tenant referencing. Once a prospective tenant decides that they wish to reserve a property it is our duty as well as their expectation that referencing fees are taken quickly to ensure that both the landlord and ourselves cease marketing whilst we do all necessary checks prior to move in. As with all of the properties we are instructed to manage tenants are provided with a very detailed independent inventory report at the beginning of their tenancy which they are directed to check over and given the ability to make notes if required. We ensure that every deposit is lodged with a government scheme prior to you moving into the property thus ensuring that you would be treated fairly. We sincerely apologise that you feel we were difficult to work with. Hearing about your experience is hugely important to us, and your comments will be discussed with our lettings department to ensure that this experience is not repeated again in the future. I can say only this: " They are providing high class services!" They were better than I thought! I am very pleased and happy that I made this choice! When I started to look for the house I didn't knew what's involved. I didn't had a mortgage advisor or a solicitor. Enfields referred me a professional mortgage adviser and solicitor . Having moved from Scotland to …

Having moved from Scotland to Southampton recently my partner and I were new to the English buying system. Having an elusive lawyer(s) we learned quickly that unless we contacted Shaun our estate agent at Enfields nothing much happened. He took the time to explain things and he acted as intermediary between the two lawyers, sellers and ourselves. Without him I still believe we would be going through the buying process but today we went to pick up the keys to our new home. :) Thank you so much Shaun, Sam and the rest of the team for your professionalism, understanding and patience

The Best Estate Agent!

I highly recommend Enfields in Bitterne. We have just completed on our first house and Kevin has been amazing with us. As first time buyers, we were unsure of how long everything would take or what the process was. Kevin has been so helpful in keeping in contact with us and updating us on what was happening. Thank you to Rio who showed us around our house and Daryl who showed us around another house whilst we were waiting to find out if our offer had been accepted. After viewing a few properties and experiencing Estate Agents who didn't make an effort to show us around a place and were then pushy in asking us to make an offer, it was lovely to have Rio and Daryl show a genuine interest in what we were really looking for, If we move again, we will definitely be in contact with Kevin and his team!

Great communication

We have sold our house and brought 2 houses through Enfield so. They have been great through the whole process, always kept us up to date with the process and worked so hard communicating with the solicitors to get this through for us. Marketing of buy to let property

I recently instructed the lettings team to market and manage our buy to let property. Jack explained the relevant fees and process very clearly, so I knew exactly what to expect. The property was placed on the rental market very quickly, with a suitable tenant found in just 2 weeks. The process of vetting the tenant and arranging the tenancy agreement was done quickly and efficiently, and I was kept informed of how this was progressing. Outstanding, pro-active service!

My wife and I picked Enfields to sell our property based on the quality of their service when viewing houses to buy, and they really excelled. Having originally had only a couple of viewings over the space of several months with an online-only agency, Enfields generated many more viewings in a matter of weeks and soon found us a buyer. As it happened we found a property to buy through them as well and this was where they really shone. Our process of reaching exchange of contracts was quite tricky, with some hitches in the chain along the way. Enfields were absolutely fantastic, pro-actively moving both the sale and purchase along on our behalf, contacting solicitors, our vendors, and our buyer to keep things progressing. When there were issues they helped to resolve them, and consistently kept in touch, providing both updates and advice. Whether you're looking to buy, sell, or both I couldn't recommend them more.

Good communication and very diligent

The whole process, from arranging viewings to exchanging on the property, has been dealt with brilliantly by the team at Enfields. Rio did a great job of showing off the property, allowing us to see the property on our own terms. During the offer processes onwards, we communicated predominantly with Kevin. Via Kevin, communication with the seller, regarding fixtures and fittings, exchange date, etc., was simple and quick. I can't praise Kevin and his team enough for how they kept us in the loop as first time buyers, took us through the whole process, and fielded different requests. They have all been patient and easy to work with. I would recommend using this branch.

That doesn't mean that you should call me again every day, at various times, leaving me voicemail after voicemail. Your number has now been blocked. Harassment is not the way to sell houses.
