I have heard good things about Enfield in general but specifically Enfield Bournemouth is a nightmare to deal with. I signed as a guarantor for some students renting a house. You don’t expect much when you are going for student digs (though it was over 2k per month they paid). The company knowingly let a large number of houses out to the students that have severe rat infestations, year after year. The exterminator was sent, blocked up a lot of the holes (which should have been blocked already) then the dead rats were left in the walls! You can imagine how that smells when you put the heating on. It was disgusting how the students were treated and the agent seems happy to let all those properties year after year. The exterminator said 4 years in a row he’d been to the same house and one of the agents said they had about 40 houses with the same issue! They need to seriously review how they do business, who they do business with and what their minimum standards are. They will probably get this post removed but I hope it makes it to management for review to protect future young people.

Adrian at Enfields has gone above and beyond in helping me navigate re-letting one of my two flats in Southampton. I’m currently out of the country and he has worked with my contractors and current tenant to arrange a swap to the vacant flat with a view to preparing and marketing the one he moved from. All of this is not straightforward especially as I am not there to oversee and undertake work as needed. Adrian has visited both flats, taken photos and kept me informed. He is knowledgeable and communicates reliably and promptly. The service so far is well deserving of 5 stars.

I woke up yesterday to find my shower wasn’t working at all, so I contacted my letting agent Enfields and Emily was incredibly helpful in getting it sorted as a matter of urgency for me as I now could not shower at all. Jamie the contractor plumber came out the same day and fixed the issue and installed a new shower bar. Sometimes I worry when renting that these things will take ages to be approved to be fixed or for someone to come out but I was proven wrong! Huge thank you to Emily and Jamie for the fantastic service and speedy response, really appreciated.
