We found a flat through Enfields, downgrading to a small bed flat temporarily due to family circumstances. So we weren’t expecting much. But it really was a miserable property in need of complete modernisation (or demolition). When we moved in the washing machine was balancing on some old magazines, the bathroom was cracked, sealant rotten and shower mouldy. Paintwork was peeling and just not in a good way. The 3 doors to enter the property were broken and door handles got stuck, trapping people inside and were a security issue for us not being able to lock them. We continued to report things, like a loud squeaky leaking tap (never fixed) the hallway light didn’t work (over a year to replace), and don’t even get me started on the mice! £100’s worth of clothes, baby items and sheets were shredded to bits while we were waiting for the problem to be sorted, Absolutely vile. But the landlord just didn't want to know. (We were grateful for Enfields sorting a new boiler, washing machine and oven for us very quickly though.) When we went to receive our deposit back, what a surprise, the landlord came out of the woodwork and took over half of our deposit for ‘cleaning and painting’ which is so upsetting given we left it as we found it. Enfields themselves are lovely people, but their properties and relationships with landlords is dire, resulting in a lack of due care for tenants. Communication was always delayed and disjointed making us feel like we were bottom of the pile, likely they were just too overrun with other properties, maintenance issues, and their priorities lay with the sales. I would advise against using Enfields unless, like in our case we had no choice. We are just so pleased it is all over.

We were very happy to have chosen Enfields for our recent house sale, they had successfully sold a few others down our road recently and Jonathan was very enthusiastic about our property which we felt was important for showing it in the best light. We were not disappointed and achieved our sale within a week of going on the market (thank you Ian!). I have been dealing with Rachael Clarke and for no fault of our own it has been quite a stressful time especially for my first buy however Rachael couldn’t have been more kind and helpful throughout the whole process. We engaged with Enfields agency as tenants renting a flat they managed in central Bournemouth. In a period of over 3 years we stayed in the address we were pleased with their service and dealing with the agents, in particular Bethany Thomas who was our property manager and also Hannah and Lisa. We felt every issue was dealt promptly and professionally. We were also lucky our landlord was great; we only ended the contract due to relocation. The Devil works fast, but Patrick Duffy works faster. As a first time seller I was nervous selling my property, due to an uncertain market. After getting an estimate from a reputed agent in the Moordown area that was 10k less from what I thought my property was worth, I was recommended Enfields - and it was the right call. Patrick was the agent I worked with and it was a very different experience from the others I consulted with when shopping around - honest, no nonsense, and full of useful advice and experience - Patrick didn't promise anything he couldn't deliver. The main points that made me choose Enfields was: - Patrick's experience and genuine confidence in the value of my property and it's features. - Enfields ongoing track of quickest sales in the area on average - and that's not an exageration. - The fact they understand the best buyers profile for your property and don't just arrange 20 viewings of time wasters - they pair the right people to the right properties, doing the right thing for the buyers and the sellers. - There was no hard sale or pushing of marketing services I didn't need - like I said, honest and down to earth. Within a few days professional photos were taken (by Patrick) and my property was listed. Within 24h of listing I had a viewing. Within 3h of the viewing we had an an offer. If anything I felt bad that all the effort put into the listing was gone from OnTheMarket so quickly ahaha. Enfields selling averages were not lying. This might not be the case every time, but the effort and speed put into setting up, and buyer->property matching speaks for itself and is definitely worth every penny. From then on, Rachael Clark handled the communication during the sale process, and would proactively reach out whenever there were any updates on the process. The personal touch of both Patrick and Rachael to even call just congratulate on the completion day, went to show the personal and friendly treatment the have for their customers. I'm very happy with Enfields, I am recommending them to everyone, and when I buy again, it will definitely be through them.

I don't normally give reviews for anything but I have just sold my house through Enfields and I am so happy with their service that I thought it was important to share my experience for anyone else looking to sell their home. In terms of valuing the house, Jonathan didn't try to low ball us for a quick sale and actually valued the house higher than two other agents. His valuation was spot on which was proven when it came to agreeing the price on our house with the buyer. Had we gone with the other valuations provided we would have ultimately lost money. The idea of having viewings in our house whilst living there seemed very daunting at first but Jonathan gave us lots of really good advice about what was important and not so important in getting ready for these. I believe that this advice resulted in a very quick offer that we accepted. The viewings and negotiations were handled by Jack and we found it really helpful to have one single point of contact for this as he became very familiar with our house and what we were hoping to achieve. For every single viewing we were consulted about a time that was convenient for us without any pressure or feeling that we needed to work around the agents schedule. It was clear that Jack was very experienced and provided useful feedback on each viewing. When the offer was accepted we were then taken through the second phase by Rachael who was absolutely amazing! There were some challenges with the house that we were buying through another agent but Rachael was able to keep the whole chain together and was willing to speak with all solicitors, other agents and even vendors in the chain that weren't her responsibility. Rachael kept us updated almost daily and was always so lovely and helpful to talk to that I looked forward to our chats and it felt like I had a friend guiding me through what could have been a very stressful process. I want to thank the Enfields team for such a high quality and personal service and highly recommend them if you are looking to sell your home!

Emily was our estate agent and was absolutely amazing. First appointment with her we had a great experience, tunes in the car, and really helpful and informative. Unfortunately weren’t able to secure the house we wanted. But she rescheduled another appointment 2 days later and we found the yard of our dreams!!! Great vibe and she was super helpful couldn’t ask for any other estate agent. We were wizzed around in a beautiful Mercedes AMG 2020 sport! She was super motivated and amazing at her job! We purchased our buy to let from Enfields several years ago. Jonathan's enthusiasm and passion for the job and the property shone through from the outset. It was an obvious decision to ask Enfields to be our letting agents for both our properties from that point on and we haven't looked back. Jonathan and Lisa are always willing to give sound advice and guidance with their extensive knowledge of the letting market. Jonathan keeps us well informed with top tips from his YouTube videos and prepares us for any possible changes from the government. He markets the properties successfully and enthusistically. He always seems to secure reliable tenants, advising us on the correct rent to set and has never let us down. Hanna is incredibly efficient. She manages to cut through any complications and just gets things done. She explains things so clearly and will always go the extra mile to help.
