GoogleThe Director Jatender Chaggar was very disrespectful in my home and appeared to be extremely arrogant I was disgusted by his attitude and asked him to vacate my property! I will inform my colleagues who are property entrepreneurs in the area and will be sure to inform others about my experience to ensure that they too are not mistreated.
I had four other estate agents arrive after Jatender arrived, i mentioned to them what had happened and they didn't appear surprised and confirmed that they were know to them as a local business and also found them to be rude and that they were known for their shear arrogance.
You have been around for 30 years! And only have 42 reviews,..jokers.
Its very likely the reviews are not a true reflection of how they conduct their business and a large number of those reviews are probably friends and family! I have posted my experience to my whatsapp groups and will share on my social media .

I think that your review is rather unfair as your version of events is a bit distorted and untrue.
You were very awkward to deal with right from the moment that you called our office to book the valuation.
On arrival at your property I found you to be very unwelcoming and aggressive and I did not wish to carry on with the visit, so it was me who offered to end the appointment and not proceed any further.
As for your property entrepreneur colleagues, I hope that they are able to make a judgment based on our many 5* reviews rather than you solitary unbalanced negative review.
I have been an estate agent for over 30 years and this was the first time I walked out of an appointment.
We provide a free valuation service and do not expect to be treated rudely whilst doing our job and at the very least would expect some common courtesy at the visit.
I wish you well with your sale and hope you can find an agent that you can work with as regrettably on this occasion it won’t be Ellis & Co.

GoogleI started with this company as a tenant from October 2018, the process of getting the flat was fast and easy. After I moved into the the property it has been a night mare with the customer service from this agency. I had an electrical problem and had no heating in winter to the property, the customer agent told me and my family of 3 with a 6 yr old daughter that we wouldn’t die without heating! I still gave another chance even referred this agency to people. During the present corona pandemic I work for the nhs with these patients so each time I come in from work I use my guest bathroom to reduce any risk of exposure to my family, I noticed the bathroom has a leak I called the office as I’m no plumber and was mainly focusing on the risk of exposure and what if it goes to the flat underneath and damage there as well. I offered to pay a plumber as I can understand it’s a lockdown and asked if I would be reimbursed. The customer agent called me crazy inconsiderate lady and went on shouting at me saying people are dying! I explained that wasn’t the way to speak to me and he continued his disrespect. As a front liner I’m crazy for trying to minimise exposure to my family trying to think of my neighbours. Be very careful with this company. As soon as the country is out of lock down I will be leaving. Customer care is the worst!!!!!!!
