Director Richard Oughton has over three decades experience in the local property market and has lived in Enfield for over 35 years. He is a qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA) and National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP). The team all live in and around Enfield and have a combined experience in both residential sales and lettings of over 75 years, offering a depth of knowledge of the local area which is second to none. GoogleMy husband and I have been with Ellis & Co. since 2000, first as tenants and then as landlord, therefore we have experienced both sides. From the outset, the team headed by Richard initially and then Nadia was outstanding, especially when my husband took up an appointment overseas. They took care of gas certificates, issues when appliances were broken, dealing with Enfield Council, etc. Since my husband has passed Fathum is most helpful, professional and polite. I cannot thank the team at Ellis & Co., Enfield enough.

Everything is 'amazing' or 'wonderful' these days and that blurs the lines between what is outstanding and what is simply the norm, or just average, to the point that one rarely bothers to read them any more. However, our recent experience with this company has compelled me to write, for no other reason than it is such a rare occasion that one receives the kind of service, support and professionalism that Paul and his team provided us across an extended period.

GoogleSelling a house is a stressful endeavour whatever one’s circumstances and the cast of characters one encounters on the way so often adds to that frustration- estate agents, solicitors, surveyors and mortgage brokers all with their own agendas telling you what you want to hear in order to make you part with your money. During my recent sale, I first listed my house with an agent who had overvalued the house and almost nothing happened for six months. At that point, I contacted Ellis & Co and got a valuation from Paul Rudolph, which is when everything changed. He was frank and honest in the valuation and he was proactive about finding a buyer (which he did within a couple of weeks of marketing the house). He kept me updated at every stage and he was easy to get hold of throughout the whole process when I had questions. I’m not usually one to leave reviews but this really was an exceptionally good service and it has challenged my previously rather negative perception of estate agents!

They have good connections with local tradesmen and anything that has required attention in my flat has been addressed instantly. Any work that has been done has been of the highest standard and with minimum disruption to my tenant. Nadia has been incredibly helpful!! She is reliable and trustworthy and has made letting and maintaining my property much simpler. I am notified immediately of anything that requires my attention and all paperwork is thoroughly documented and explained. They have made the job of being a landlord far easier and I would highly recommend them.
