I used Ellis and Co to sell my house in 2020. Alicia Casingena was my selling agent and did an excellent job to get my house sold quickly and at top market value. Alicia really understood my requirements and the value of my house, never troubled me with "tyre kickers", and found a Buyer with exactly the right profile and ambition for my house. Alicia worked tirelessly to navigate the new Covid-rules to prepare my house for sale and conclude the sale as quickly as possible, keeping me updated at all times, and helping to unblock issues on the Buyer's side. Both Seller and Buyer were very pleased with the outcome, and I would highly recommend Alicia to help sell your property. Given my positive experience from my first transaction with Ellis & Co above, I used Alica Casingena at Ellis & Co (Golders Green) to sell my father's property in 2026 after he moved into a care home. Alicia delivered for me again, achieving my sale price in very tough market conditions: high interest rates, high number of properties for sale and low number of serious buyers. Alicia knows the Golders Green market inside out, and is an expert sales negotiator. She understood my requirements which included a hard time constraint to get the sale done, and her marketing advice was spot on. Alicia is very personable, always contactable, and worked tirelessly through many evenings to push the sale through. I always felt Alicia 'had my back' throughout the process, and there was no need and no point in trying to market the property across multiple agents given Ellis & Co's track record and market reach. Thank you Alicia, and I won't hesitate to get in touch if I have any property business in Golders Green again.

Don’t use this firm to sell your house as they treat potential buyers like garbage which means it’ll take longer to sell your house. And if you’re buying avoid these time wasters. Apparently they don’t want to make commission. It’s run by a bunch of unprofessionals with poor communication. We confirmed to come in for a viewing three times over the phone, once with Alicia the day before and twice with Neil on the day who gave us the green light to attend. On arrival a man claimed we didn’t have an appointment and that we needed email confirmation which Alicia or Neil didn’t send. Instead of being apologetic towards us for their mistake he was very rude and abrupt and told us to just stay in the dining room and not move as he was dealing with someone else. So we waited which was taking forever, my mother is elderly and unwell so i apologised and said i’m pushed for time i’m going to have a look at the garden. To which the man snapped saying no you don’t have an appointment. Well it all kicked off from there, we questioned his rudeness and he told us to get out like it was an episode of eastenders with peggy mitchell throwing us out the pub. It was uncouth to say the least. But if that’s how he wanted to behave we gave just as good. We called the firm and spoke to Neil about what had happened and Neil doubled down about us not having an email as if he himself didn’t tell us to go earlier in the day. Absolutely insane behaviour. He said he’d investigate, called back to reiterate the same thing without an apology at all. We asked if he spoke to Alicia and he said no. Great investigation work there Neil 🙄 Turns out the man was the owner Khalid Ghani. Sounds like he’s gotten a little too big for his boots and forgot humility. No wonder Neil was useless in doing anything since it’s his boss and Khalid can’t seem to call out his staff for making an error. I got the distinct impression he was not a fan of my flavour of asian and my being a woman, hence the racist sexist attitude.

From my initial viewing with Ayesha and maintenance queries with Khalid through to the day to day management of the property with Maria I felt they looked after both their client and me as a tenant. I cannot thank and praise Alicia enough for her professionalism and genuineness during the sale of my late grandmother’s house. From our first meeting, Alicia took an interest not only in the house, but also in learning who my grandmother was. Although the house needed a great deal to bring it up to modern standards, Alicia And her team marketed it well and to our surprise, we had a buyer within three weeks. In fact we had two!!! Alicia kept in constant contact, even when she didn’t really need to and I felt able to trust her vetting of the potential buyers. It was the most straightforward and quickest house sale ever.
