GoogleEllis & co have been very helpful and attentive through out my sale of the property. I had previously used Ellis when I let out the property and needed valuations and they provided relevant information and were very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this branch for anyone wishing to sell, purchase, rent or let as they cover all areas and at very reasonable prices.

GoogleI would recommend Ellis & Co Bounds Green Estate & Letting Agents to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent in the area they cover. Tony, Mark and Tina can't be beaten for the prompt support and advice they provide. I sold my house within 4 weeks and had multiple viewings from genuine buyers. The interim period between buying and exchange and completion was made easier due to the friendly approach of all of the team. Lovely people terrific service.

GoogleIf you are looking for an estate agent who delivers on many fronts, look no further. Having just sold my house through Ellis & Co, I would highly recommend them for their professionalism from start to finish. Tony and his team offered me an honest and accurate assessment of the value of my property, together with an agreed marketing strategy. They are easy to reach when needed, and keep you informed every step of the way. Unlike so many estate agents, they really do care, offering support and practical advice when needed. They have many years of experience in the local area, which was crucial for me, as I was not familiar with this part of the UK. I tried the rest (believe me) and ended up with the best.

Bounds Green office Ellis & co - Nic, mark and Tina have been amazing! They helped us find a beautiful flat as we are first time renters. They made us feel relaxed at ease from looking at the flat to getting our offer accepted , processing our references. If we had any questions they are quick to respond back with an answer. I would recommend anyone to go to Ellis & co Bounds Green office as they are a nice team that will go out of their way to help and put all their applicants at ease. GoogleI would highly recommend working with Kier from Ellis and Co - wow what an experience!!! Transparency, respect and responsiveness plus incredible flats! My flatmate and I had been looking for a place for upwards of 5 months, we had seen at least 23 flats all over London and dealt with countless estate agents. Our experience with Ellis and Co and with our letting agent, Kier Hawkins was extraordinary. From the fact that we were able to schedule a viewing immediately, to the responsiveness of Kier and his team, to the genuine care that he has and respect for the existing residents, the experience really stood out. My flatmate couldn't be at the viewing so I wanted to take a video, I asked Kier, and his answer was that he wanted to respect the privacy of the existing residents by avoiding videos of their bedroom. He is the only agent I have ever worked with who cared enough about the residents to bring up this point (which seemed obvious but I hadn't thought about). I decided in that moment that I would only work with him. Upon moving in to our new flat, Kier and the Ellis and Co team have been nothing but polite, respectful, kind and responsive. Our flat is incredible and their support has been brilliant. From helping us get situated to explaining processes and providing complete transparency and documentation. I would absolutely recommend working with Kier at Ellis and Co. Finding a flat is tough, it's nice to have someone on your side who's genuinely looking out for your best interests.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

TrustpilotProperty managers of high incompetence
When you spend more time managing a property manager than you would managing the property there is something wrong.Ellis & Co's management of our property has been appalling. Staff change frequently and there is no continuity. Often we are not even informed when the property manager changes. Problems fall between the cracks and get worse before they are dealt with, creating more cost. Worse still, they take no responsibility whatsoever for their failings and lack of service. The Manager can't even be bothered to arrange a time to call and discuss the problems, delegating to someone else to send a terse and aggressive email effectively burying their head in the sand and refusing to deal with the problem as they are too busy. I would be ashamed to be associated with this company. Find one that actually cares.-------------UPDATE POST ELLIS & CO RESPONSEThe version of events you present below is both untrue and incomplete. Unfortunately I have had to resort to dealing with the matter here as you have failed to even agree to the courtesy of a phone conversation to go through matters. You called at a time that was inconvenient to us without pre-arranging it. When we were unable to speak at length and had to go, you refused our attempts re-arrange a mutually convenient time. Instead you simply sent a rude and presumptive email in which you unilaterally decided the matter was closed. Happy to re-engage less publicly if you wish to. Equally happy to escalate if necessary.
Dear Jamie, Ellis & Co take all customer enquiries, requests, and comments seriously and do our very best to help in whatever way possible. In this case we initially provided a quote for repair works in March 2020 to which you had many questions all of which were responded to. The repair work was delayed by a further 3 weeks during which time we advised you many times by email and phone about the urgency of these repairs. Therefore, we do not feel there were any delays from our side in handling this issue as shown in the timeline/audit trail along with e-mail correspondence that we have sent you.Regarding management changes, there have been only two changes in 3 years and the current Property Manager is still furloughed and has been since April. During the recent lock down and following the government guidelines the offices were closed but with properties being managed by homeworkers, therefore we have been available to deal with management issues, albeit not on site. This has not affected our ability to manage this or any other managed property.We have looked after our managed properties during what has been a difficulty and trying time for managing agents, landlords and tenants alike.
