GoogleWent for a viewing with Max from the Bedminster branch and he was excellent. He was super informative, answered all our questions and made us feel very relaxed about the whole process. He even added abit of banter into the mix which was right up our street.

GoogleBoth Minnie and Ethan have been extremely helpful as I am looking for a flat to meet my accessibility requirements. I spoke with Minnie over the phone and via email and she has been quick to respond to all questions. At the viewing Ethan was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the property and helped calm my anxieties by answering every question I had and was patience whilst doing so I never felt rushed and was at ease throughout. Communication was excellent throughout, which made arranging the viewing easy and stress-free. He responded quickly to any queries and was well-prepared for the viewing. GoogleWe were really pleased with the service from CJ Hole in Westbury on Trym, Rob Watson specifically has been an absolute superstar. After our property being on the market with another agent for 12 months, we were starting to lose hope. CJ hole took on the property and we had 4 offers within 2 weeks, all proceedable buyers. They are a professional team and the service continued throughout the sales progression. We needed to complete within a tight timeframe and they ensured this was met. GoogleI am letting my property as an overseas landlord and CJ Hole are managing it for me. They take care of all the legal requirements and keep on top of me to ensure my property is compliant. They also regularly check the quality and condition of the property to ensure both myself and the tenants are happy and satisfied. I really appreciate the work they put in and I deal with Jess and Vanessa and they are superb, friendly and easy to deal with. They and CJ Hole take the stress out of managing the property for me. GoogleI didn't have a good experience with CJ Hole, i am relocating my family from another country so i need to have a rented house before they move here, but they are saying first move your family here we will meet all adults and then we can show you the houses, and mentioning that it's legal binding to them which seems totally illogical for me. They advised me to book the hotel, bring your family then we will show you the houses and after choosing one i can move there which doesn't make any sense. When we apply for the visa they ask us about the address where we are going to live, when you apply for school admission they also need an address. And as per CJ hole i need to move my family first and then i can get the house. So either the government policy to ask the address is wrong or the CJ hole doesn't have the ability and skills to tackle this situation. Maybe they just want to work in simple cases and are too lazy to deal with relocation cases. I just selected 2 stars because of the man who met me at the reception, otherwise zero was the option.
Hello Saad, thank you for your review. As discussed with you we are legally required to conduct Right to Rent checks on all adults before a tenancy commences. This means that we [legally] have to meet all adults prior to this. The only other option is to commence a tenancy in your sole name and then add your wife once she arrives in the UK. This involves administration which is chargeable and due to the Tenant Fee Act we can only charge tenants £50 and most landlords are unwilling to pay additional administration costs. We fully appreciate this isn't ideal for anyone, but please be aware this isn't company policy but legislation that all agents and landlords have to comply with. We would, of course, be happy to assist you once your wife has her visa and you know what date she is arriving so we can plan for a tenancy to commence as soon as possible after that.
