Pascha, in particular, was very helpful in advising how to get the house best presented for sale, and then the sales team as a whole were very efficient in providing details of viewings and feedback. The initial buyers pulled out at quite a late stage but the team re-sold the house quickly. Julie has been progressing the sale and keeping me well informed. It has been quite a difficult chain and some of the solicitors have been challenging but Julie has relentlessly kept on top of them all and provided regular updates. I like that most communication is by phone rather than email.

We sold a flat in Dursley, Gloucestershire, and purchased a house in Bristol. The transaction started around August 2025 and completed in March 2026. The CJ Hole Henleaze team did a fantastic job of selling us the home and of supporting us through the process. In chronological order, we interacted with Tim, Perla, and Lorraine - they all were professional, friendly, and easy to interact with. In the last few months of the transaction we interacted solely with Lorraine, who deserves special praise. She was proactive throughout the process, and kept us informed with weekly updates. Initially the updates happened on a Monday, but Lorraine was kindly able to move the updates to Tuesdays which suited us better (due to lighter work and childcare commitments that day). Lorraine took the lead in interacting with our own estate agents and solicitors. Her efforts often led to our solicitors being encouraged to act more quickly than they would have otherwise. Lorraine's deep knowledge of the process of buying and selling, and of the necessary document names, meant that our solicitors had nowhere to hide when providing updates to her. In summary, we were extremely impressed and happy with Lorraine's professionalism, proactive nature, and friendliness. Even though she wasn't technically working for us (as CJ Hole were hired by the owners we were purchasing from), we felt she was often our greatest ally in progressing the transaction. Just wanted to say thanks to her and the team! We would use CJ Hole services in the future.

I have been living in a property managed by CJ Hole for 5 years. The property itself is great (and we think the landlord is sound although we have never met them). However, CJ Hole have been consistently horrible at communicating and solving maintenance requests. All projects are done cheaply and have led to more maintenance needing done. They demand things of us rather than collaborating with us, particularly on property inspections and contract renewals. It feels as if they don't consider this our living environment, but rather just a means to profit. Capitalism shocker.
