GoogleI was looking to rent a property in the Barnes area and went to the Carter Jonas office on white hart lane. The staff that I dealt with in the office were super helpful and showed me several properties that they felt I might like. I was taken around the property by Cerise who made the process of applying for the property really easy. I have used other agents in the past but Cerise came with loads of information about each property, the costs, the amenities and the local transport, schools etc. She responded to e-mails well and was very professional. When it came to negotiations for rent Cerise and the other staff were helpful, friendly and supportive. The process was the easiest I have had in a very long time and I have rented many properties over the last 10 years. since I moved in the staff have continued to support me with any issues that have arisen. I would rate Carer Jonas at 9/10.

GoogleI want to thank especially the Assistant Debbie and Charles who helped solve an emergency bathroom issue which did not let us use the shower or bath over the weekend. Debbie quickly reached out to the agency specialist Charles who came over the same day and took care of the problem. That was a major problem which was most efficiently taken care of.

GoogleVery efficient service. Ann Weller was always a great help if I had questions or concerns, but I believe she has left. The excellent Debbie Young always had answers to my questions and helped get things done for our tenants. Charlotte who was our first contact for the lettings contract has always been most helpful when we had questions. The person who does the rental statements is a star too. However, I had a problem getting things done after the last property inspection. I sent to Manu a list of issues to be dealt with and jobs requiring quotes from gardeners and others at the end of August, but nothing happened. This was the first time I have felt let down by Carter Jonas and was told that my request had “slipped away”! I am still waiting to hear about my list of jobs to be done…… Best Regards from Kate Hulot

GoogleI was informed that my holding deposit would not be refunded due to “failed referencing.” However, under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, an agent may only retain a holding deposit in limited circumstances, such as if an applicant provides false or misleading information, fails a right-to-rent check, withdraws from the tenancy, or fails to take reasonable steps to enter into a tenancy agreement. In this case, I do not believe that any of these conditions apply. All information provided by me was accurate and honest to the best of my knowledge, and I cooperated fully with the referencing process. They have now just withheld a £810 deposit with no satisfactory reason and I wonder upon how many other people they have done this to. Emily in perfectly was extremely rude. I shall never recommend this agent to anyone and I advise all future renters to be very weary when attempting to rent through them.
