We have recently purchased a beautiful house through Carter and Jonas. From the start of the process we have been fully informed and updated . Extra viewings arranged and nothing we asked was too much trouble. Catherine was extremely supportive and when sadly we had a bereavement in the family Catherine was both kind and professional and helped with making the purchase go as smoothly as possible under very difficult circumstances. We can't thank Carter and Jonas and of course Catherine enough . Now we start our new chapter in our stunning home 🏡

Carter Jones of York handled our rental application back in May 2023. The process itself was made all the more easier by their procedures which though complex at times in order to comply with government regulations, caused us no concerns whatsoever. Everything was explained very carefully and the move into our new apartment happened exactly as and when it was supposed to. We have nothing but praise for their looking after our interests, just as much as for those of the landlords. There have been some staff changes since May '25 but Grace stands out for her success in easing our way through the paperwork and into our new home. Presently and for some time now, our day to day contact is with Jess and occasionally, Jess who as far as we are concerned, are the go-to ladies on a day to day basis. They are always so courteous and friendly. The perfect people on the end of the phone when an emergency might occur by way of a leaking tap or unserviceable cistern. They quietly get on and resolve such problems with ease. And lastly but by no means least is David Sinclair whom I believe line manages the 3 ladies in question. Although we have had little contact with David, we know that he is also as team player and always ensures that procedures are followed. Clearly, there is more to his job specs than that but at holiday and other times, he ensures to inform us of who we might need to contact in an emergency, whilst the office is closed for the duration. We have nothing but praise for both the Letting Agency in general and most certainly, David, Grace, Jess and Sally in particular! Thank you all.

Tenant: From start to finish Carter Jonas has been very professional, efficient and knowledgeable. We enquired about the property, we viewed the property (they were fully booked though and had 13 viewings on this particular day). We liked the property that the landlord had to offer, we quickly made an application with no time wasted. A very professional women called Grace came back to us asking a few questions for the landlord, then told us we had been approved. She kept us informed very and explained next steps perfectly to us using email. We used Blinc to check our credit files/confirm identity/confirm salary and this was a very effective way of doing it. The next step is for Ken to meet us at the property on our moving date. The full team has provided the adequate information throughout the last 4-6 weeks, especially Grace Wilson who handled everything for us and was our point of contact. She provided excellent customer service using great communication and written skills. She has a can do attitude to the approach of her work to ensure her clients needs are met and she’s definitely done this from the tenants side. Thank you Grace Thank you to the team! I would recommend Carter Jonas to anyone who is serious in looking at either renting their property/looking for services or if you are looking to rent a property.
