GoogleHave used Carter Jonas to find tenants since 2019 for two small furnished properties where the tenants change each year, mostly. Such a professional service from Dave Sinclair and Grace Wilson at the York office, makes it so easy for me. All tenants have been thoroughly vetted and have been excellent with no issues.

Did everything in there power to get me accepted on my first house which was no easy feat let me tell you, but they never gave up. GoogleAVOID AT ALL COST ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. We have been treated terribly since day dot, they lied to us about our property and said all this work would be done and it never was. The property was filthy and unsafe, they took all our money and sent it to the landlord without our permission after we ended the tenancy. We delt with David Sinclair and the service is completely unprofessional and extremely rude, he took days and days to reply to us and always ignored my questions and was always sarcastic on the phone.

GoogleHaving moved to Carter Jonas from another Estate Agency upon where my property had been listed for almost 3 months and very little interest (or seem to be notified of), I was in hope of finding a much more proactive/motivated approach and I can safely say they did that, with an agreed sale price, exchange of contracts and out within 6 weeks I could not have been happier. Infact, I have a number of other properties in which I will be instructing Carter Jonas too. Lois Power specifically went out of her way in my personal opinion, working long hours and not having time through the day to respond to Loisβ emails, Lois went out of her way to respond after her working hours; showing her true dedication and an asset to Carter Jonas. Moving can be described as one of the most stressful events in oneβs life but Carter Jonas take that stress away. I look forward to working with you with the rest of my properties within my portfolio.

GoogleHighly recommend avoiding Carter Jonas ( York ) we rented out our property with them and the lack of communication from the start was unbelievable. Not returning calls or answering questions sent by email, Didnβt even inform us of the entry date for the tenant ( we found out by accident ) and then when the tenant broke the conditions of the lease by moving additional people into our property without our permission they refused to support us the owners with serving the tenant an eviction notice. Having to now look into Legal action against Carter Jonas for failing to do the job they signed up forβ¦.

GoogleFirst class service from Catherine and Kate in the York office who went way and beyond when guiding us through our recent sale which made the whole experience less stressful. GoogleThe WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Please avoid using Carter Jonas if you can. I have been using several letting agencies in York, but this is the worst experience that I have ever encountered. They will hold off your deposit and ask you pay for the irrelevant fee after check out. I was FORCED to pay for the painting and redecoration fee that is totally unacceptable.
