I don’t normally engage with reviews but feel very strongly that In this instance I must exercise my right to do so. Carter Jonas Winchester were appointed and contracts signed to market our property on the 7th Jan. Unknown to us and not disclosed at the time they were also showing prospective purchasers another “black book” neighbours property that was not currently being listed!! Any market advantage completely compromised in our opinion. Their response was very defensive and was suggested it was beneficial to us and were working in our best interest! I’m sorry but it doesn’t! riding the tailcoats of our listing and presenting another neighbours property in the same small development does not constitute working in our best interest. Quite frankly a poor, un-professional service for which we have learnt the hard way! We have had to terminate contract and re appoint another agent. We have had a very negative experience with this agency, the suggestion to them that this was NOT working in our best interest was met by a defensive position, almost arrogant in its delivery. Thankfully we have now found an agent who shares our values and ideas of what working for a clients best interest means!

Can’t recommend Carter Jonas in Winchester highly enough. Rob supported us through the process of selling our home from start to finish. There were some very stressful moments in our chain but Rob was always on hand to advise on the best course of action, pro actively found out what was happening from the other parties and then took the actions necessary actions. He was responsive to calls messages and a nice person to deal with. We will definitely be using Carter Jonas again, especially Rob!

Really poor service. Dealt with Louis who was pleasant (although outwardly commented negatively about others who had viewed the property that day, which I didn't find particularly professional) on the viewing on Friday 13th October. Had some immediate questions which were emailed across within an hours of the viewing to which 3 weeks later there hasn't been a response. Put an offer in on the property the following Monday (16th) and had an update on the Wednesday saying probably wouldn't have an update until the end of the week. Didn't receive any further updates (despite chasing) until 8 days later to say there still wasn't a decision but no explanation as to why and that the owners wanted to meet us the following Friday (3rd November - today). Sent a response within 3 hours saying we'd be happy to meet them and also asking some really basic questions. As of today I have had no communication following my email from over a week ago, nor have I received any updates regarding the property or my application. Extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend to others...

We have just sold through Winchester branch, and I have to thank Chris and Jemima for the most excellent service. Our sale was not a simple one, yet they were with us every step of the way, went above and beyond to sort out lower chain issues. Always replied to texts, calls, emails or whatsapp messages.
