Really bad experience. Went to view a lovely cottage, letting advisor was lovely. We then put an offer in as liked the place and they said they would check with landlord and get back to us, they never did despite sending reminder emails. So we’ve lost out on the place and landlord had lost out on renting out the place. Just frustrating when they don’t even have the decency to reply or even say the offer hasn’t been accepted… Really unprofessional.

I rent my property through Carter Jonas and I would recommend them as an estate agent. The main reason for this is the ease of contact with Lauren, our property manager. She always responds very quickly and contacts me if any issues as soon as she can. Problems at the property are resolved quickly and professionally.

We talked to a number of Estate Agents before putting our house on the market. Carter Jonas impressed us with their understated professionalism and realistic sales strategy; we were not misled. Kevin and his team worked very hard to find us buyers and to ensure that those buyers could back up their offers (including working through a Bank Holiday). The result was a solid sale that achieved the agreed target price. A protracted sale/purchase process (the fault of third party solicitors) was negotiated with diplomacy, candour and good liaison with all parties. Carter Jonas has a solid team that I would recommend to anyone.

We have had a great experience with Carter Jonas. We bought a house through them and are also selling another. Both were slightly more complicated than a standard purchase/sale due to timings, but they were very helpful in all aspects. When it came to selling our house, we were kept very well updated by Chris and Alison in all aspects so there was no need to chase. I would definitely recommend Carter Jonas.
