GoogleI wanted to share the truly fantastic experience I had with Nicholas Humphries. It’s no secret that estate and letting agents often face a less-than-glowing reputation, but this agency absolutely breaks the mould. From my very first interaction, I was genuinely impressed by Jack, who went above and beyond to make the whole process as smooth as possible. When I enquired about viewing a property that I was interested in, especially since we’re relocating to be closer to family, Jack was extremely accommodating. Living in London makes evening viewings difficult, so I asked about a Saturday slot. Although their schedule was fully booked, Jack offered to contact the tenant to see if they could make an exception. Within just ten minutes, he called back to let me know that the tenants unfortunately couldn’t accommodate it as they were heading out, but he had rearranged his own commitments so he could meet us at the time we’d be arriving. This level of flexibility and customer care, especially given the high demand for the property, really stood out to me. Jack was friendly and personable over the phone, instantly establishing a sense of trust even before we met. When we viewed the property, we absolutely loved it. Jack was also honest and straightforward about any snagging or adaptations that would need addressing should we be offered the property. It was clear he genuinely cared about matching the right tenants, rather than just filling vacancies. This is a huge reassurance for any landlord considering Nicholas Humphries, if I ever become a landlord in Hertfordshire, I would definitely use this agency. I also spoke to Millie, who was incredibly efficient and helpful. It’s clear that the whole team follows the same positive and proactive approach. Their communication is excellent, which is exactly what future tenants and the property industry need more of. Thanks again to Jack, Millie, and everyone at Nicholas Humphries for setting such a high standard. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

After years of mismanagement with another company, moving my property portfolio to Simon, Matt, and their dedicated team has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The property managers and administrators are consistently responsive, friendly, and have a real “can do” attitude that gives me complete confidence my portfolio is in safe hands. GoogleJust completed sale of second house I have sold with NH. For both sales, Dave Powell was very charming, and gave very useful opinions and advice, without a ‘hard sell’. He also recommended a solicitor (who was great). Received several offers quickly, and again Dave offered his opinion about each of them. Ami in the sales team was very helpful in ‘encouraging’ the sale along promptly, both with the buyers’ solicitors and with me! All-in-all, I have both times had a positive experience with the team at NH (Burton). I would happily work with them again, and would recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their own house.
