First Time Renter (Student) Nick and his team have been first-class from the beginning to the end and are still providing that service. In the beginning I viewed two houses, which Rachel kindly fitted into her schedule and on the same day. On top of this the viewings were also provided within days of me asking for them. The team were great with answering questions. Rachel was superb as I had a tonne of questions and I was provided with a number which I could send any questions I had after the viewing to on WhatsApp - and still use if I have any questions. Really superb, I suspect not many other Estate Agents provide that service! I had a little issue on moving-in day. My key did not fit the front door! But Nick immediately drove over (about a 20 minute drive) to inspect the keys, to which he drove back to the Estate Agents to pick up a new pair and drove back. Commendable. Thank you. The website which I used to complete the process of signing and filling in details etc was very user-friendly which makes a world of a difference - nothing worse than tackling a badly laid out website. All in all, a very friendly experience which eased my first time experience of renting. Thank you guys, TK

Chris has been fantastic. The sale of my property was an absolute nightmare for a number of reasons, none to do with the Estate Agents I might add. In total the sale took 18 months and the buyer was considering pulling out a number of times. Chris managed the whole situation with calmness, professionalism, tenacity and a great deal of patience. Chris has been on top of the situation over the whole time the sale took and was able to offer sound advice when it was needed. It is highly unlikely the sale would have actually gone through had it not been for Chris's time and effort. I cannot speak for everyone at Nicholas Humphreys Estate Agents, but if they are half as good as Chris, I would recommend the estate agents to everyone.

The best service at the best price! I live 2 hours away from Stoke on trent and as a landlord that likes to takes their duty of care seriously, I am grateful that I chose to use NHs, I am duly informed of any issues and this often comes with a resolution. Therefore I know they are on the case so I can have peace of mind. I get better service from the team there then I do from other agencies where I pay a premium for a supposedly no nonsense service. They give great advice and I wouldn't have even bought the property without their consultation. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work! Also, on a specific issue where the neighbours roof collapsed that affected and condemned my property, I had updates, visits, advice and general tenant advice and was very happy with the way it was dealt with. Was by far the worst experience i could have had while trying to study at my first year in university. Do not use their services and waste your money like i did. (the response from Rob is a joke btw, don't for a second believe the problem was the "differing levels of expectation" about their level of service. For around 3 months in the winter period when it would get quite dark around 6/7pm .We were left without a kitchen light meaning we would use the flash light on our phones to light the kitchen when in use. it took as many months to fix the bathroom fan which in itself was it's own debacle involving the landlords parents coming over and breaking it further. If having a functional light is deemed as a unfair expectation on Nicholas Humphreys then that says everything you need to know about them. Years later i'm still not over just how shockingly poor their service was. personally I've used Student Cribs and the unis own Greenpad service as alternatives and have had positive experiences with both) P.S even 5 years later I think about how truly shocking your service was. If updating my review means 1 more person uses an alternative real estate agent then I'll keep updating till the day I die

I previously had my rental house up for sale with another estate agent, which fell through, and felt let down and frustrated. I approached Nicholas Humphreys following a marketing letter (never heard of them before) and Chris came round to talk it all through. He discussed how the current listing looked to buyers and what he would propose elevate the listing. I immediately felt reassured that he knew what was best to sell the property and I signed up there and then. I was kept well up to date with the progress (something I hadn't experienced before with my other estate agent). Within a couple of weeks Chris managed to secure an offer. He, again, kept me well informed with how its going, often linking in with solicitors (on both sides) to keep it going and advised me of what I needed to do (if anything). The whole process has taken around 3-4 months and I can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief that it's due to complete. I can't thank Chris enough for his efforts, continued updates and support. I would definitely recommend and will use again.

Message for parents considering using this company for student lets in stoke on Trent, avoid! This company did not respond to any requests for repairs whilst my sons were in the property or ignored requests for considerable time. The tenancy ended and then they did not return the deposit leaving it til the last day (7weeks later) before they would be forced to return the deposit under the tenancy deposit scheme to then inform that they were keeping £1000 of the deposit. What a scam organisation this is.

This company is a cancer, useless staff in the offices who do nothing but sit around collecting their wages, the houses are in beyond disgusting conditions, I was sick the whole time living there until I left (coincidence?? Nah) and they will do not a single thing about anything at all. Don’t be fooled at all by their one dimensional mundane personalities and their too good to be true cheap prices.
