We chose Hunters to sell our 1 bedroom flat earlier this year. Alex, our agent, was very well informed about the market, gave us confidence in the demand for our property, and of the five agents we spoke to, spent the most time with us to understand our priorities, both for the sale and any onward purchase. As promised, we had a buyer within a week and completed 3.5 months later. Throughout this, Alex was very responsive and very helpful when it came to arranging electrical and gas surveys at the request of the buyer. Finally, although our onward purchase was with another agent, Alex took the time to give us coaching on what to bid and when which was much appreciated. Overall, really happy with the service and would use Hunters again.

Sold my property through hunters. What a rollercoaster of events! The initial valuation went well with Tom. We agreed on a competitive fee if I was not to use Shepherds and not the generic 1%. Following on, the photography was done really professionally and well. The house sold within 3 days of going live. After this point, the service from Hunters rapidly declined. The final sale negotiation was left in the hands of a trainee very young girl, which I felt left me short of a good few more thousands. There after, I had surveyors turning up unannounced, when I was half naked in my boxers first thing in the morning. Communication was 0. I was often phoning and phoning and going to voicemail. The sale started to progress and things were moving when sales progressor Angela got involved in August. The final cherry on the cake was the dispute on the fee! At the last minute, they were trying to make out like Tom was known for giving good deals and that it should have really 1% and that I needed to provided proof of that agreement. I knew this was going to happen as even a few days after the sale, when I phoned regarding the fee, Tom said ‘I’ll have to go over the figures im in a meeting’. When we shook hands in my kitchen on a fixed amount if I did not go elsewhere. I took matters into my own hands and kept phoning everyday until I got an email from a staff member at hunters saying the fee was the agreed amount plus VAT. It came in handy at the end! On the day of completion, Matthew phoned me and asked for proof and they had have given 1% to my conveyancer as it had been deducted of the sales proceeds I received. I was not a happy bunny!! But I sent the email over as proof and all was corrected. I got a voicemail from Matt saying it had been sorted. He called me Ravvi. 4 months on with yourselves and you don’t even know your clients name. Rohan!!!! Don’t forget it! It seems thats staff were coming and going. Tom , Maria, Faris , Kelsie all gone. I suppose I give you the 3 because the house did sell, It was a generous fee - and so it became an issue. There were points of greatness but you need to improve on all mentioned!!

Unprofessional manner received from the estate agent. I have booked two appointments slots to view two properties. The estate did not call to cancel the appointment and did not turn up. Hope you will continue treating customer unfairly like this. I ll take further actions as you are regulated company. Very bad experience with the Hunter.

Hunters provided us with a flat in Liverpool 3 years ago. During those 3 years there have been some ups and downs of the tenancy, sometimes communication between the Hunters team/Landlord/Tenant hasn’t been great which meant things weren’t as smooth as they could have been. However Holly has really helped us with the moving out process recently which meant we could leave on a positive note. We booked a viewing for lettings with Preeti at Hunters and boy are we glad we did! She was so welcoming and friendly compared to some of the there cold as stone estate agents we met for viewings. She really made us feel comfortable and was so professional throughout. Gave us a full guided tour (many agents simply waited outside and told us to “take a look for ourselves”) and we had our 6 month baby with us and she asked if she could hold him and was playing with him throughout the viewing. She answered all of our questions and was very transparent when she didn’t know the answer to something but said she would find out ASAP and let us know (which she always did!). There was a slight issue on our end however Preeti went above and beyond to liase with the landlord to get us the contract & give us exactly what we wanted for the price we wanted!
