Awful experience. Poor repairs. Illegal eviction - should have been a section 8 not a section 21 - tried to use the deposit for renovating the property into a HMO. Hunters also charged the previous tenants for professional cleaning which we were told would be happening in the first week or so of moving in. It didn't. They then tried to charge us for the same service. Wonder how many customers they do this to. Also charging for items not on the property but given to a neighbor, and later thrown out by him on his own garden area (he advised landlord and hunters it was his to get rid of). They have identified it as formerly mine from property inspection photos which legally should not be taken of my possessions. Con artists. Pending further action. See you soon

if i could give them zero i would beware if your a contractor contracting to these guys , you won't be getting paid, Yasmin Hall asked us to carry out gas works for her and gave us correspondence details to which we sent the information and invoice, this never got paid we text , email and reissued the invoice to Yasmin and still no payment , we have also contacted the Hunters office Directly for them deny the property is anything to do with them, Today we finally spoke top Yasmin Hall again who just wanted to deny and responsibility of the debt and asked me to invoice a 3rd party whom we've had no dealings with , will be passing this debt to a collections company

We are a small family with 2 small children and sold our 2 bed flat through the estate agents Hunters in Carshalton. I had some bad experience previously with a few property agents where they didnt provide any personal experience and didnt work with us to achieve our goals . With Hunters it was the complete opposite. Fleur came to do the valuation and straightaway we knew she was the one we wanted to handle our sale. Once hired, Ceejay dealt with the viewings and day to day communication. Both Ceejay and Fleur were extremely helpful, proactive and gave us that personal touch which we needed. We had a few issues in the process as were also buying a house and were in a chain. But Hunters always were on our side supporting us in critical decisions, suggesting the next steps and chasing the other agents and solictors. They made the process smooth and easy for us by taking away the hassle and making sure the right outcomes were achieved at every stage. The whole process took about 8 months because of some issues higher up in the chain but with Hunters support we managed to sell our flat and move in to the house we wanted! Till the very end both Ceejay and Fleur made sure that we were informed of everything happening around us. They as a team kept each other always informed of the situation and made sure that our sale completed successfully. We are very grateful that we chose them and would recommend anyone locally to hire them as their agents, they will not disappoint - thank you :)

Although I haven't rented/purchased/sold a property through Hunters, I just wanted to share my experience with them. The other week I contacted Hunters to arrange a house viewing. I promptly received a call back from Olivia, who was very polite and friendly on the phone. After we viewed the house, I put an offer in. It was the first time I had ever done this but Olivia was so lovely on the phone she made me feel at ease instantly. Unfortunately, the seller declined our offer, and my partner called Olivia yesterday to put another offer in but the property had sold. We have submitted a few expressions of interest to various estate agents within the area, and I have to say Hunters have been the only one worth a 5-star review! Only one other has got back to me... 3 days late, with only one viewing date (but that's another story for another review)! The whole experience leaves me with a lot of confidence in choosing Hunters in the future. I hope we end up successfully finding a property through them!
