Please see review by Peter Wigglesworth below. We were left with a house that was not adequately insulated in the winter, and a fridge/freezer that did not work (due to the cold temperature in our kitchen interfering with a mechanism within the fridge). Hunter's were appalling at communicating with us and refused to release our deposit when we left in order to live in a warm house with working white goods. After an investigation we received our deposit as there was no evidence of leaving the house with excess wear an tear . Most disturbing to me are the lies told in response to my partner's (Peter Wigglesworth) review below. I, his partner, did not send a letter praising their service, and never will. We did not leave the house in poor condition, as confirmed by an investigation, and actually did repairs ourselves that the landlord should have done. Hunter's are liars, cheats and absolutely do not take care of the tenants. Do not rent with hunter's unless you're happy to spend time living in substandard rental conditions and fighting for money that is rightfully yours.

I brought my first home recently in Brentwood through balgores and they were fantastic, Joe lambert was amazing and always on hand to call if I needed anything, he explained everything to me clearly as it was my first time buying I had no idea where to start. Joe and Billy did a very good job in handling the sale of my flat. Valuation turned out to be spot on. Queries were answered promptly and solicitors chased, especially as we approached exchange. By the end of the process I felt as if I was dealing with loyal friends. I would have hesitancy in recommending them and there solicitor's.

Hunters provided a friendly, helpful service. They were excellent in dealing with the purchase of our house, in particular Faye and Robyn. When we were searching for a house, they would often call to recommend new houses that had come onto the market and were very proactive.

Being new to owning a property to rent out & becoming a landlord It felt quite daunting. But lo & behold, the staff in Hunters of Bingley rentals put me at ease. Guiding me through the paces of what is expected of a landlord. Any questions I asked were answered or dealt with straight away. The staff found my 1st tenant in an instance. Their check was quick & efficient. So my tenant moved in within a very short time. I feel without the Hunters RENTAL Teams help, I would not have began to think of becoming a landlord. I would certainly recommend using the services of Hunters estate agents in Sutton Coldfield, from start to finish they have been amazing. From the moment when Faye visited our property she truly appreciated the property and gave a genuine true valuation of the property, she was extremely helpful and had a great understanding of the market.
