sold a terraced house in S10. Amy Buckley in the local Hunters office went above and beyond and kept us informed even when things were not happening. She was polite efficient, and professional. She kept things moving and achieved the sale despite all the problems in selling an old house we also used Hunters Conveyancing and Jennifer Simpson was equally impressive chasing up legals and banks and getting the job done with the minimum of fuss but still with politeness and charm. She also kept us well informed and up dated even when we didn't need to know things Would definitely use Hunters again and from my own point of view would be asking if both those were available altho they be involved

I have no hesitation in recommending Hunters Estate Agents at Crookes. All the staff were excellent, messages got passed along, nothing got missed. Amy was exceptional, we certainly would not have completed our sale if not for her diligence, efficiency and polite professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble. Amy constantly checked on the progress of all levels of the chain contacting solicitors and estate agents to chivvy them along. Even when there was nothing new to report, Amy would ring and chat making sure that were in the loop and feeling secure. We have already recommended Hunters, but the Crookes office we found to be without fault.

A fantastic estate agents who have helped on many occasions. We purchased a property through them last year and they helped with every step of the process, suggesting lawyers we could use and then helping with contacts for renovation work for the property. They then were extremely helpful in getting the property marketed and sorting tenants. We were so pleased we are currently looking at buying another property through them. Crooked in Crookes - Had offer accepted on a property by vendor and confirmed by Hunters in email. I was then away for Christmas week but was arranging solicitors etc. Returning, I find 'For Sale' sign still up and viewings still being taken. I had no further communication from them until I queried what was going on. One of the subsequent viewers made a higher offer than mine which was then also accepted. Of course legally acceptable so no worries about completely messing me around and causing a great deal of stress just so you can get more money. Totally unscrupulous.

A very shocking service! Me and my partner were looking for a rented property for long term as our son grew up. Went to view a house and were the first to express our interest. Upon asking what the next step was, we were told that our situation would be explained to the landlord and would hear back in the next couple of days. Being a student and my partner earning a wage based on commission, we realised that this might not be the most attractive situation for a landlord. However a few days past and nothing. I called to check in and I was told that they were still awaiting a call from the landlord. It wasn’t until two days later, I was looking at Rightmove and saw the house was ‘no longer on the market’. I called and the lady (Olivia) told me that one of the other APPLICANTS were accepted. So we were unable to apply and someone else had been allowed and then got the house. I complained and expressed my disappointment but that was pushed aside as if this was normal. When viewing, Olivia didn’t even know the layout of the house or where the boiler was and then told me lies on the phone twice as they were obviously processing an application. Would not recommend and will never use this estate agent again
